If they had a salad bar, I wouldn't have to cheat on them and go to the Lowe's Foods! But they don't. So I do. This Publix is just ok to me mainly because of the layout. The produce section is on the opposite side of the store from the bakery and deli. Makes no sense to me. The one on D Road that I e been shopping at for 20 years, and still use for my prescriptions, has the correct layout. Bakery, deli, produce. All aisle 1. The other thing that I'm not a fan of, and I believe this is all Publix, the self checkout doesn't take cash. Cash is still king in my world! But hey, we can't always get what we want. Staff is great, and we usually find what we're looking for without any issues. Some of the best things to pick up at Dollar Tree: mailing/shipping supplies, garden stuff in the spring, the box candy, and food storage. We love to browse the food section to see if there is anything fun to try, and even like to do Dollar Tree dinner challenges to try to save a little money. One heads up, this location does NOT have a freezer section like some Dollar Trees do, and that isn't a big deal to us, and no fault of the store itself. There were a few people in the store but it felt like the life was being drained from my body. I'd say most of the items are slightly discounted from that of larger retailers with generic brands too, however the savings aren't as large as I anticipated. The selection is very poor as the shelves weren't stocked. The facility, had very little unkept and products were all over the floor. For instance, two of the refrigerators were out of soda options and many shelves were bare as if they were desperately in need of a shipment to arrive. As for the employees, I was so disgusted I didn't bother getting anything, I just felt the overwhelming desire to leave as quickly as possible. Overall, this is Dollar Tree is by far a horrible place to stop by and I always try to be positive about some aspect, but I couldn't do it with this place. Avoid at all costs.

It doesn't typically take long to get a hold of someone at the pharmacy via phone call. Typically, prescriptions are ready within the same day I call or the following day. I use the drive thru for pickup and there is either no line or the line moves efficiently. Unfortunately at times, this pharmacy is temporarily closed which is an inconvenience when I am in need of picking up a prescription so I have to use other locations.

The pumps were empty so was able to get in and out very quickly. There was a spot to fill your tires with air. No car wash on site. There was trash bins at pumps, some were overflowing. Plenty of parking in front of store with handicap spots as well. I do enjoy the perks of being a circle k member with getting a discount on gas!

First off the gas pumps do seem to always work and flow at a respectable rate however that's where the pleasantries cease. The windshield fluid smells like (use your imagination) and that's all I have to say about outside . Inside could use a LOT of TLC. The floors are always dirty while the ceiling aren't in the best shape. They're often out of "munchies" such as chips and what not and the same goes with their drinks that are in the fridges. The fountain drinks are generally operational with the occasional out of order sign. The worst part about the facility is cashier speed. There are two registers however both are never operational at once, even if they have two people working them. I mean when having a line 7 deep with one register it's slow. Also add to the fact the card readers must be on a dial up connection b/c they're slow as well. If you need gas and that's it, there's no issue here, however if you need to go inside it might be a while.

Pot holes in the parking lot, trash outside, inside dirty as heck. When I walked past the hot food line, a women without gloves eating off the line without a hair net (I usually can let the net slide but not today considering everything else). In the produce section plenty of empty bins, moldy fruit on the shelves, carts just sitting out, food not being properly rotated are just the start. Yes, I'm a former chef so I notice these things. Old and discolored meats, bare shelves for dried goods, soft drinks and on and on. The staff weren't exactly dressed to impress and rude. I literally wanted to get out as soon as I was in the produce section but I forced myself to walk around and observe. Final note, if you have an option, for the love of God, go somewhere else.

Moreover, the staff are friendly and quick to assist with any questions you may have about what they carry or even rumors about upcoming releases. The store is somewhat clean and easy to navigate. As for the consoles and games, they carry exactly what you can find at the bigger stores, yet they do have a selection of items that one won't find at other stores such as older systems and games like Wii or PS2 games. In addition to the latest titles, they have a plethora of used games that can be purchased. FYI - I'm a strong advocate of OWNING physical media as a lot of these corporations can take an online product down at anytime and you no longer have the game you purchased. It's even more of a nuisance with streaming services take down their content (movies, series, documentaries, etc) all the time. Another example is Disney took Toy Story 2 and deleted several scenes with Stinky Peete (Kelsey Grammer) b/c they didn't think it was "appropriate in today's society." The only way you can own your memories, is buy the discs!!!! Other products include toys, action figures and Funko Pop figures, which I still haven't figured out the allure to as of yet. I just hate the oversized head. This store does carry gaming themed clothing as well as many other collectables, I strongly recommend coming in to browse for a while considering their inventory changes. I'm sure anyone reading this already knows, but you can sell consoles, games and other things or even trade for cash or credit. Finally, they do allow preorders if you need to secure that new console, game or cards. Speaking of cards, I believe they're also the number one carrier of cards - Pokemon, OnePiece, NFL, NBA and so on in the greater Summerville area. Moreover, they can send off the cards to be officially graded, albeit for a hefty price. Heck, they even have a Magic the gathering tournament night (inquire at the store)! The one aspect I have with the store has more to do with a company that's not doing well financially and it's they're overly pushy about buying their "Pro Membership" and warranties. I will always support local stores, especially toy stores (RIP Toys R Us, KB Toys and so on) but when someone tries to make me feel bad b/c I don't want to buy a membership I have an issue with that. This makes the experience almost like buying a used car with overly aggressive sales people rather than me just getting what I want and leaving in peace. Again, this appears to be a corporate push but depending on who is there, it gets a little much. Overall, the people are extremely nice and many customers know the staff by name. In summary, I love Gamestop and the people that work here are awesome. Moreover, Gamestop has thus far resisted the "brick and mortar" death that so many other stores have become victim too, they buck the trend of bigger corporations that have stop selling items like discs and physical media and they have a larger selection of "in-hand" products as being able to hold something still means a lot to many of us. I strongly suggest coming in for all of your gaming, cards, interesting toys likes Star Wars, Lego, and Pokemon along with collectable needs. They'll treat you like fellow nerds!

They had a large display of all their tasty donuts. I saw they had something new for their iced latte which was the option for a protein milk. I asked the girl at the counter what brand that was specifically and she told me it was lactaid. I waited about 5 mins to get my coffee. The coffee itself didn't have much flavor, I'm not sure if the milk was too much but I didn't get much of a coffee or the shot of SF vanilla that I added. I may have to come back and try something else or perhaps a normal latte to see if I can tell a difference in flavor and quality.

I guess I'm just being crabby, but I really don't think you need a mentally ill person who makes more than 75% of your customers uncomfortable, as the person doing this particular job. I'm also a big customer service fan, and when he handed both my drink and food, he didn't look at me or say a single word. I actually sat there until he noticed and he said, "did I forget something?" and I said, "yes, you could say thank you or have a nice day or something!" and he just stared at me. I told him, "I hope YOU have a nice day" and left.
