They sell books via their physical store but also post stacks of books and you can claim them. The owner is very sweet and even works with you if it takes awhile for you to get to the store. Honestly, I love this. It helps to show the stock and then I go in already knowing what I need/want. Also in the area you can get a nice little bubble tea so you can have something to sip on while you peruse the bookshelves. They do have events also in the space. So, Zicknacks and Treasure Trove Fleatique both share same address and signage is for Treasure Trove Fleatique. Once inside, the downstairs has used furniture while upstairs has booths for different vendors of used items, a lot of it vintage. There is even a plant booth which I loved and purchased a couple plants at a good price. Sooo, after coming home and searching online I am deducing on my own that Zicknacks occupies the main floor/downstairs portion of this venue of furniture and furnishings (I never saw any signage-- did I miss it?) And other vendors occupy upstairs. I must admit this particular visit there wasn't that much furniture but I can see that this is a good option when searching. The cashier is on the main floor near the front door. Searching online it shows Zicknacks also does donation pickup and has Hauling services.

Right on Potomac ave in Dormont and there is meter parking right out front of the store. The ladies that work there are very nice as well. They told us how they are volunteers and have been working there for years. This is a non-profit store and everything they don't sell within 60 days goes to homeless shelters and a lot of their profits go towards helping the animal shelters as well. The store has been around for 50+ years, which is amazing. The ladies said it originally started out as a trade store for items people didn't want anymore, hence the name. As other reviewers have already commented, the parking lot is small, and it can be challenging to pull in and out of spaces. Furthermore, this mall is right next to Banksville Road, which often has very busy traffic. I have not experienced major problems with other vehicles, but I can understand how other customers do.

I'm a regular shopper at Aldi. They may not have the enormous selection of the local Market…read moreDistrict shops, but man are they good at feeding someone on a budget. I've been able to cut my grocery bills almost in half by primarily shopping here. Some of their products are sold pretty consistently (i.e. some cuts of meat, apples, cheese, etc.) while others are rotated out as availability allows (an example: I tend to stock up on frozen vegetables that I like because I might not see them on a return trip). There are also some basic home goods available for sale here, which is helpful if I realize I also need paper towels or something like that. Unfortunately I sometimes forget to bring a quarter, which is entirely on me - and really, the system they implemented where you rent a cart with a quarter and get said quarter back after your trip is fantastic. It cuts down on operation costs (therefore on product costs) AND means I really don't need to worry about abandoned carts rolling into my car. As mentioned in another review, bringing bags is key; Aldi sells some if you absolutely cannot find any, but it's much easier having reusable bags anyway. Be prepared to roll your cart out of the way and to bag your groceries as well; again, I love this system, because of the cost cutting AND because I can bag my groceries as I see fit. Let's be honest: we've all come across a cashier who has no problem putting a loaf of bread at the bottom of a bag at some point. I highly recommend shopping at Aldi at least once; once you have an idea of what is available, you can work them into your routine if you want to, as well as supplement your shopping elsewhere as needed.
