Very spacious building with a crazy variety of items. Their own furnishing section I think it's really nice, though I've observed that many of their items have slight damage and for the price isn't worth it. They do sometimes have new or nearly new stuff for extremely good prices, but they go very fast! Clothing department I feel is much better for girls/women than it is for men. Electronics are good... not nearly as good as when they first opened though. Staff are cool, friendly, and some have even recognized me enough to ask me how I've been and other small talk. They work off a date system where there is a date on each items' price tag. Depending on the date, it'll quality for certain discounts. The longer an item stays on the shelf with no buyers, the steeper the discount. But being that they get a pretty good flow of shoppers, don't expect a jackpot find unless somehow the item was well hidden, or it is something nobody wants haha. Anyway, I think the concept is super cool and I encourage you to check it out if you haven't already done so because it's kind of like a treasure hunt, you never know what you'll find. One thing to note is that many of the items for sale are returned items, so inspect a bit before you buy as it may be missing parts, have Scratch and dents, or just plain dirty.

Most are the lesser off 20-30% but google search cause most the time you can find the same items on sale without the damage that is on a lot of their items. They now charge a "set up fee" for items which to me is ridiculous because it's done mostly by the workers on the clock during their shifts. Add that on to the "savings" and the deals aren't as great as you think. Don't get me wrong I've managed to get a deal or two but most the time I walk out empty handed. For the most part the employees are helpful & friendly especially the women. The owner is a great guy. The manager is hit or miss depending on what kind of mood he is in. Sometimes he'll talk with you and others he doesn't wanna be bothered. I really do hope they do well here but to me they are a bit still over priced. Hold on to your receipt to make sure items work as well. I've ran into that a couple times. I think my biggest complaint is just stores that nickel & dime people to death. Like the "fee" for putting items together, as well as you get charged extra for paying with a card. I realize card fees are on the rise but I'd rather the fee be included in a price so it doesn't look like greed. Cards is a big part of our world!! Many places take them and only few charge for them extra. Again if you are looking for something just drop in . Their items change daily so you never know what they will have.

Called and they immediately looked up the cameras to find where my items went. It seemed that I did indeed leave with all my items, but I was surprised because I did not see them in the bag with the receipt. The manager Anika looked at all their cameras to help find my items. She even went to look at the outside cameras and lobby to see if I dropped them. I started wondering maybe I should look one more time in the car ...and surprise they were in the car door! I feel bad for making them search so much during a hectic time of year. I'm so thankful for Anika and the employees at Gabe's for insuring that I got my products. I used to be able to find everything quickly but now it seems that the aisles don't make sense to me. I still have a hard time navigating to find my items. I also have been asked by other shoppers for items they can't locate as well. So it's not just me or my husband. The prices are high as well and although I feel that one should support local business, I no longer buy as much as I used to. I try to go in the morning or at times when it is not as busy because they never have enough cashiers and sometimes I don't feel like doing self checkout if I have a bit more in my cart. I don't care for self checkout as I feel it is taking jobs away. I have found some nice employees but mostly they are indifferent. Sad because common curtesy and politeness can go a long way, especially when there is competition that can give you more value for your money. Bakery section is pretty good and I've never had any problems ordering birthday cakes there. They've always done a good job and often on last minute orders which I appreciate! Produce can be iffy for me. I've had bad luck with bag salads being bad when opened. The farm to table produce is usually pretty good.
