Very spacious building with a crazy variety of items. Their own furnishing section I think it's really nice, though I've observed that many of their items have slight damage and for the price isn't worth it. They do sometimes have new or nearly new stuff for extremely good prices, but they go very fast! Clothing department I feel is much better for girls/women than it is for men. Electronics are good... not nearly as good as when they first opened though. Staff are cool, friendly, and some have even recognized me enough to ask me how I've been and other small talk. They work off a date system where there is a date on each items' price tag. Depending on the date, it'll quality for certain discounts. The longer an item stays on the shelf with no buyers, the steeper the discount. But being that they get a pretty good flow of shoppers, don't expect a jackpot find unless somehow the item was well hidden, or it is something nobody wants haha. Anyway, I think the concept is super cool and I encourage you to check it out if you haven't already done so because it's kind of like a treasure hunt, you never know what you'll find. One thing to note is that many of the items for sale are returned items, so inspect a bit before you buy as it may be missing parts, have Scratch and dents, or just plain dirty.

If they have it, great price. Need electric throws for gma? Great price. Halloween candy-yes. Books? Wonderful selection-but not a specific title usually. You might find coffee table books on Pink Floyd or Trump or Obama or Harley Davidson, but not average books. Good selection of kids too. Great prices on toiletries. What I'm trying to say is you can get great stuff at great prices (especially if you enroll and they send 10-15% coupons to you regularly--I load up for the food pantry then.) but don't be disappointed if they don't have the exact brand or even the exact item you need.

I also tried to sell back some items i had purchased there, had never worn, in great shape, and they would not buy them back. When confronting the staff, nobody would own up to who went through my items. I highlighted to them that they rejected things on their own list, girl stated "she was not going to stand here and argue with me on every item". She also agreed with me when i said it is basically up to whoever the clerk's style is that goes through my bag. This pretty much sums up that this location of Plato's is condescending, rude, and discriminatory, even against their own policies. If you go here, do not attempt to sell items because you will have wasted your time by finding out it's not trendy, or they will just not take it because of whatever mood they're in that day, or based on the clerks sense of fashion, or what they think would look good on their shelves. NOTE: i had high end brands such as judy blue, democracy, American eagle, coach, gap, etc. I have even had Tennessee volunteer gear get turned down 3 weeks prior to football season.

Not only was she patient with me, but extremely kind and knowledgeable. She was honest and provided me with the information I needed to make great purchases, in my opinion. I was also provided with a great discount, which I definitely was not expecting. Due to the timing of my visit, there were some things that were out of stock, but what they had was plenty for me. The store was so quiet it was uncomfortable, we weren't welcomed when we walked in, no one asked if we needed help, I felt like I was a bother. The store had a scent to it like it was a pet shop, that's kinda nasty. Besides that I was impressed with the amount of fireworks that were on display as well as the fair pricing for all of the fireworks. The best thing I can say is that there are a lot of cool fireworks and that you should stop in. There is a lot of parking, also considered I came in November which is a down time for the store, again price is fair. I hope that there are some more helpful employees because tonight's employee was kind of boring and didn't look to happy to be at work.
