More lights inside, lights in the parking lot, and clean the inside up. Make it look more appealing. There are still some wonderful shops to visit in each building. I often come here just to trade games in building B, but I found out last week Dragon's video has been closed until march 30th from other venders. Me, my husband and children really miss seeing Edna and her husband. They both are so nice and kind and go out of their way to make each visit a friendly one and joyful occasion. There video store has great prices and fair trade. I will be back on the 30th to see them and find new games for my family to play. See you then.

Took a while for me to adjust to coming from…read moreCharleston, SC, and frequently visiting other malls, like South Park in Charlotte and Lenox Square Mall in ATL, but overall, I mean, if you need something.... this place is good. There's an Old Navy, TJ Maxx (which, by the way, is NOT at the front of the store as the sign would mislead you to believe), Homegoods (i.e., Marshall's without the clothes), Belk, a Merle Norman outlet, Bath & Body Works, the Gamefather (a video game store), and some clothing stores. Also a standard pretzel/soda/cookie spot, too. A hair cuttery, a cafe, a nail salon... You definitely couldn't make a day out of shopping here, but could spend an hour or two or so. It's clean, and the restrooms are nice, too. I will save comments about individual stores for their own personal Yelp reviews. Overall, I wouldn't suggest this as a spot for out-of-town folks, unless you just want to be amazed simply the size of by a small town mall (aka, it's cute). This is more of a spot for locals who just need (want) to grab something they're specifically looking for. This place is A-OK, and that's okay with me! :)

I try to pop in on the regular when I'm on my farm in Mendota. Katie and her team are so friendly and always have yummy freshly baked goods like delicious gluten free peanut butter cookies, cupcakes, brownies, pineapple upside down cake, all sorts of baked goodies. I can't decide if my favorite sandwich is the good ole BLT or the Chicken salad on the croissant they are both so yummy! They have lots of other things too. There is a beautiful outdoor patio and live music concerts about once a month when the weather is nice. You have to check on Facebook to see who is playing. It's really great! I wholeheartedly recommend that you check out lovely Mendota and visit their sweet general store The Store at Mendota. Oh and I nearly forgot, free wi-fi & free parking!! Don't underestimate free wi-fi when you are out in the middle of God's gorgeous country because you're unlikely to get a signal.

If you go to Plato's expect them not to abide by their own policy of purchase. I came in here with…read morelisted brands, "in season and trendy", which they turned down. I also tried to sell back some items i had purchased there, had never worn, in great shape, and they would not buy them back. When confronting the staff, nobody would own up to who went through my items. I highlighted to them that they rejected things on their own list, girl stated "she was not going to stand here and argue with me on every item". She also agreed with me when i said it is basically up to whoever the clerk's style is that goes through my bag. This pretty much sums up that this location of Plato's is condescending, rude, and discriminatory, even against their own policies. If you go here, do not attempt to sell items because you will have wasted your time by finding out it's not trendy, or they will just not take it because of whatever mood they're in that day, or based on the clerks sense of fashion, or what they think would look good on their shelves. NOTE: i had high end brands such as judy blue, democracy, American eagle, coach, gap, etc. I have even had Tennessee volunteer gear get turned down 3 weeks prior to football season.
