I am 77 years old, disabled, use a cane and oxygen and have to have groceries delivered. Today my groceries were delivered by Instacart to the wrong address. I have lived here for 25 years and haven't moved. Somehow the software on the publix website changed the address to something else. I didn't change it. So when the picture confirming delivery arrived I advised they dropped it at the wrong location. The driver refused to return to the person she dropped it off and bring to me. I have no way to get the groceries. The place she dropped them off belong to two older ladies in their 80's in worse shape than I am. So if you use Publix or Instacart, beware that the address may change without your knowledge and the driver's refuse to help. Thankfully a kind neighbor down the street was home and went and got them for me. no thanks to the Instacart driver.

This is a well sized salad composed of romaine lettuce, chopped ham, chicken, crumbled bacon, avocado spread, quartered boiled egg, chopped green onion, plumb tomatoes,1 some crumbled blue cheese,and a large packet of Ranch dressing. This was a nice, fresh tasting salad even though prepackaged. The dressing was a bit in the lite side, but did have some flavor. I mean, there was one aisle that was COMPLETELY blocked by the carts of items. Im sure this has to be a safety hazard. As you would suspect, since there were so many items on carts, a good amount of the shelves were empty or close to it. We went to the register at 2:57pm. We were told to wait a couple minutes because they were doing a shift change. The cashier did apologize and it was a very short wait. I didn't get anything but if I were looking for something, I doubt I'd be able to find it. My cousin did get some of the things she was looking for.

There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.
