No curbside option like the Bearden location, deep potholes making turned over carts blocking spots in the lot, and often picked over/out-of-stock items that I can find quickly at other locations. As for the must-try items at Aldi? My order was too large to use self-checkout. So I got in line with the only one that had a cashier. The line went up an aisle. Overall I was in line for 15 minutes. When, a second cashier opened the people in the back of the line got in the new line. The cashier should have come over and selected the next people in line. They based the cost on an old prescription for the same medicine which is due to expire. I had a coupon for 90 tablets (3 times more tablets than I received) that would have cost $46. Because the pharmacy did not fill the new prescription, I received fewer tablets at double the cost of what I would have paid if they had used the new prescription instead of the old one. Not only did I not get the correct amount of tablets, I also paid twice the amount I should have paid. They would not take the pills back and correct their mistake because I did not see that they had messed up until after I left the prescription pick-up counter. Furious!

I even had the bakery double-check the order, and I was assured 100% that everything was set. When the cake hadn't arrived by around 4:00-4:30 PM, we had to start calling to find out what had happened. We were then told that someone had supposedly called on the 18th and changed the order to an 8:00 AM pickup. That explanation made no sense, considering I didn't even finalize and pay for the order until July 21. How could someone have changed an order before it was even completed? What was even more frustrating was that if the bakery truly believed the cake was supposed to be picked up at 8:00 AM and no one arrived, why didn't anyone call the contact numbers on the order? Instead, no one reached out, and we were left scrambling with only about 30 minutes before guests arrived, wondering if our wedding cake would make it to the venue. We were even told they weren't sure if they could get it there in time. As for the cake itself, the decorations were beautiful, and I do appreciate the decorator's work. Unfortunately, the cake was noticeably lopsided, and the cake itself was dry, especially considering the price we paid. It simply was not worth the cost. Mistakes can happen, but this was a wedding--an event that can't be redone. The lack of communication, the confusion surrounding the order, and the stress this caused on such an important day were unacceptable. I sincerely hope Publix reviews its procedures so that no other couple has to experience this on their wedding day.
