We went there last evening and there NO ONE to help at the self check out. We arrived for checkout with one other person who was waiting for someone to approve their checkout and then our terminal said it needed approved and then multiple other people came to check out and no employee to be found. I finally went off to customer service where the woman was talking on the phone forever and then saw a "manager" type person and walked over to her and she said they were understaffed and came to the check out to help us. Not a great experience as we stood there for a good 15 minutes waiting for help. But not much you can do if you want to go to BJ's but be prepared for the wait.

The best part of the place ended up being the animals. We fed some goats and took a phot with the large bull statue. I think this would be a great place to bring kids to see the animals. I don't think it's worth the drive if you're staying on the coast because it's mostly grocery store quality produce and items you can get for less elsewhere. But, if you need something to do with kids and you're close by, it's worth a stop.
