The staff is very knowledgeable about their product and best ways to prepare it - just ask. They also have a deli with some premade foods. My favorite is the dill red skin potato salad as well as the southwest dip (amazing on tacos). They change out what they offer as well so check back. Some of the dried goods can be a bit overpriced, but it will do in a pinch. They have tons of alcohol to select from so it's sure to please most consumers.

It is Saturday evening in only one checkout lane out of 7 are open... they are systematically forcing people to use the self check outs and people are going for it. The conveyor belt in checkout lane number 7 was filthy... I had to spray it with my own isopropyl alcohol. Normally we shop at the kroger in either Dundee or Lambertville, but we were coming back from an Ann Arbor and this one happened to be in our way. Milan is actually a nice town... Let me tell you what happened tonight when I went, my shopping experience was fine. I was able to find all the items that I needed. Store was clean that was great. Time to go up to the register and check out saw that the register was open, and went ahead and put my items up on the belt. When I got there, nobody was in line. There was just three employees standing in there talking to each other. I am putting my items on the belt and the gentleman starts bringing it up and continues reading it up and continues his conversation with the other coworkers. I had over $200 worth of stuff so you know it wasn't a small order. The entire time I was being rung up, he continued the conversation with the other employee. Did not acknowledge Me matter of fact when that when he was done ringing it up, didn't even tell me what my total was put my receipt in a bag didn't even hand it to me. I feel this was the most rude experience. I have had almost anywhere. You do not Continue talking to employees and ignore your customer. I did report it over to the manager customer service and she said she was going to talk to the two employees that were involved. If you work in customer service, I know it's difficult. I've done it plenty of times myself. But the number one rule is you acknowledge your customer. Acknowledge them when they walk up to. You acknowledge them when it's time to leave. I will continue going to the store, but I will think twice about using that gentleman or the lady. I'm not gonna mention names, when I go to the checkout again.

I loaded up on ground beef, huge chicken breasts, boneless pork chops and thick-cut bacon, all for $14. Much less expensive than the grocery store! Plus I'm supporting a local business.
