The signs on the door indicated the price expectations for certain days of the week. The bin set up is not like a traditional thrift store, but they did have shopping carts available. I also noticed a sign that said that strollers were not allowed, so I would not recommend coming with your small infant unless you have an infant carrier to let you be hands free. While browsing I saw some new striped Target heels on a shoe rack in different sizes and a bunch of random household items in the various bins. I didn't see much plus size women's clothing or clothing in general. I am sure that the items vary based on the day and time you'd come in. However, I am not sure if I would return any time soon. I left empty handed and was a bit disappointed in the selection.

Little did I know that I had a piece of Japan in my own backyard. What is Daiso like? A little bit of everything we are used to. a Dollar Store essentially, but it's got better items, IMO. Most items are priced anywhere from around 2 bucks to 5. Of course, there are things that might cost more, but on average, this is what you're going to run into price-wise. Now, what's inside? Sort of everything? If you need random home gadgets you never knew about, this is the place for you. Daiso is neatly organized and laid out in a way that is build for browsing. You could you spend hours combing the aisles trying to figure everything out- some things are easier than others for sure. I love going here and just picking up random things and figuring out for myself what their use is. Sometimes it's a fail, and sometimes its a win. The home items here are pretty useful. Is it the highest quality? Maybe not, but it's like 3 bucks so I'm not expecting it to last forever. It's a great place if you're trying to build up items in your home, specifically I'd say your kitchen and your bathroom for super cheap.

I had my first Daiso experiences in Korea - I guess for that reason I thought they were Korean but should know better based on their name. They are Japanese-owned and they have so many cute stuff. I didn't buy anything for this visit but may go back someday. I did do a double-take looking at their rounded hangars which are perfect for sweaters if you like to hang your sweaters ... what thoughtful hangars lol. Went here for a return for someone else. As soon as I walked in there was a long line. I did a…read morelittle shopping in the hopes that it would go down, it didn't, primarily because there was only one person checking people out in addition to doing returns. When I got in line, about 10 minutes into the 20 minutes I waited in line someone finally came to another register. She was nasty and really rude for no reason. I get you guys are busy, but I'm actually one of the nicer people in this store so not sure why your attitude and the situation you are dealing with was directed at me. What really annoyed her is that because the return was for someone else, she had to do two transactions. One for the return, which she, again, rudely and for no reason said she couldn't put it on a card, because do I see this line, mind you, I didn't even ask for it to go on a card, I just wanted it returned however you do a return, like I don't shop here regularly enough to know your return policy; and two, because since the return was for someone else, I paid a different way for my purchase. I could have gone to any dd's, and probably should have known better to go to this one, because there is always mess in that area of town when I go to stores, again, for absolutely no reason...
