My husband and I visited Marble Falls in March, 2026. We like to grow thrifting whenever we travel…read more I hoped to find some pieces to add to my wardrobe, but i stead I found wonderful books at a very reasonable price. So instead of my wardrobe growing, my library did. This thrift shop had quite the selection of a variety of items. Unlike other thrift shops that often only carry clothes, I found good books, audiobooks, home decor, Christmas decor, and of course, clothing. The cashier was quick and helpful. So, if you're traveling through Marble Falls, you should visit the Marble Falls Library Thrift.

I am a regular customer at this location and I will never be donating here again after what I…read morewitnessed with my own eyes. I dropped off a bag of clothing donations, and as I was leaving, I watched them take my bag and throw it directly into a truck. Not onto the floor to be sorted, not onto a rack to be looked through -- straight into a truck. I donated those items because I genuinely believed they were going to help people in my community who needed them. That was the whole point. Instead, I had to stand there and watch my donations get tossed into what I can only assume was headed to be shredded or sold off in bulk. It was shocking and honestly heartbreaking to see. It makes you wonder how often this is actually happening and how many other donations are being treated the same way. People take the time to go through their belongings, bag everything up, and make the trip out there because they want to do something good -- and this is what happens to those contributions? It feels like a complete betrayal of the trust that donors place in this organization. I understand that not every single item can be sold, but to see a freshly dropped off donation bag get thrown into a truck without even being looked at was deeply disappointing. People deserve to know the truth about where their donations are actually going before they decide to give. I know I wish I had known sooner.

My ONE STAR RATING goes to Electronics associate JOSEPH- was on a personal phone call with his daughter on one AirPod as he was assisting me in purchasing a new Straight Talk Phone and phone card for the first time. Not only did he have an attitude with me for interrupting his phone call and I couldn't tell if he was talking to me or talking to her because he was talking to both of us at the same time - he also sold me the wrong phone card that isn't compatible with the phone I selected. I called a manager when arriving home to tell her my complaint but didn't know the card was the wrong card yet. Then I had to purchase ANOTHER $35 phone card at home online to use the phone. Now I have to drive 30 minutes back to the Walmart to return the incorrect phone card JOSEPH sold me while he was extremely rude on his personal phone call. Flat out terrible! Who does this?!

This review is all about (Driscoll brand) STRAWBERRIES (produce, not plants). The rest of Marble…read moreFalls, TX, Walmart, and most of their produce, is fine. Grocery store strawberries are routinely big and pulpy (that's a BAD thing!), but the last container we bought at this Walmart (Driscoll brand) was terrible: bright red on the outside but with hard white pulp inside. They sliced like potatoes (and were the color of potatoes inside), and the flavor was almost non-existent. When will produce sellers and suppliers (and inexperienced shoppers who fall for ads that say "big and plump") realize that "big and plump" DOES NOT indicate quality strawberries; the best ones are smaller, red or dark pink all the way through, and have a strong, sweet strawberry taste and (when cut) smell.

Went to Marble Falls to shop for my Cape Cod trip. Thought I'd find some cute summer dresses, tops…read more& accessories. Loved all the stores. They're adorable & friendly service made me want to go back. Met the nicest Peruvian ladies at Olas. And the ladies at Oil Tap were wonderful as well. Lovely town with good Christian vaules. It's no wonder those stores were packed with repeat customers. But this store, yikes. The sales associate or owner was unprofessional. She was watching something on her phone, standing at the register like a teenager but she was a grown woman. I asked her if she had any silk scarves & her reply was "we only have name brand scarves". I played it off and replied "oh, the logo ones. Ok, no worries, thank you ". Then a couple other people walked in & she's was purposely extra friendly with her customer service & they just walked out haha. I saw a top that I liked in black & asked if she had any other colors. She proceeded to to tell me it's just a boutique store. Sorry, I'm 47yrs old & not only lived all over the US, I've traveled the world. I know what a boutique is. In fact I LOVE boutiques. Hence why I went to Marble Falls to shop & not a mall. As I was walking out, I noticed floral scarves . Compared to the other stores, this store has cheap looking clothing anyhow. It's try to be high end vintage but it gives a cheap vibe due to the cluttered esthetics. Spent a lot of money at other establishments where I was treated with kindness & like a human. As I see other reviews where people were treated poorly, I pray the good Lord blesses this woman to understand her prejudices. I know I look young but that's no reason to treat people differently. Little did she know, I was wearing a hat from a Member's only golf club, my outfit was expensive vintage and jewelry bought in Paris. In my line of work, I also understand quality of service, as I deal with very wealthy clients who spend over 70k on vacations. I was very capable & willing to spend money. But not where I felt unwanted for no reason at all. It's not that hard to put on a smile & be kind to everyone. I don't need validation from anyone but posting this to warn others to have good discernment when walking into this store. If the vibe is off, you're probably right.
