The quality of the product is also improving. Not only are they carrying the generic DG brand product, but they are also getting more and more of the name brand products in the stores and this one is by no means different from the rest. It is quite packed with product for your buying needs. If you are in the Flowery Branch area and you need something quick and you are on Atlanta Hwy, stop by the store to get what you need. It is not packed with people like many of the other "more popular" stores are, so, you'll be able to get in and get out and get back on the road quickly enough. It is a Dollar General though and it isn't the best product out there, but for the price that you're paying and the convenience of the store, this isn't a bad location at all.

She never looked at me or acknowledged my presence in any way. She walked down an aisle. I heard someone else behind the counter, but the girl that walked out didn't tell the other person I was there. She came back up to the counter to show a product to the woman who was still behind the counter. Then she turned and walked back down the aisle. I was still standing there waiting to check out. She still didn't acknowledge me or tell the other clerk I was waiting. So I picked up my items and walked over to the other check out and was directed back to the checkout where I had been waiting. I told her I had been waiting and that the other clerk had walked out passed me without saying a word. There was no apology for being ignored. The aisles are filled with boxes of product to be put away. I won't be back.

The management is nice there, but they're not always very willing to help you out. They seem more concerned to track down every single thief than making sure that good customers find what they need. They just don't seem extremely trusting. It isn't the worst Dollar General around, though.

Since I didn't want to lug a massive tree around while continuing to shop, I came back later for more purchases. This time, I went to a different cashier who, to put it bluntly, looked as old as the state of Georgia. She demanded my ID for a transaction over $50. When I told her (with the same attitude she gave me) that I wasn't asked for ID when buying the tree, she shot back with, "It's always been our policy." Clearly, this isn't true--it's inconsistent and fake. If that's the policy, why wasn't it enforced earlier? The whole experience was aggravating and made worse by the cashier's poor attitude and lack of understanding of customer service. Needless to say, I won't be recommending this store to anyone. Not only is the service subpar, but outdated policies--or poorly trained staff--make for a frustrating shopping experience. It's probably time to reevaluate both your policies and your employees.

It's extremely convenient to my house and my job as well as the other shops I frequent. On several occasions, I've encountered a RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL older white woman who says she is the 1st manager. Her name is Teri and if she's not the owner of the store why does she still have a job there? She is disrespectful to the customers as well as the other employees. I've witnessed her behavior quite frequently and asked her would she like if someone spoke to her in that manner. I even asked for a corporate number to make a formal complaint, she told me I could find another Dollar Tree to go to. I've been a Supervisor for over 20 years and my subordinates are never treated with disrespect from me. I've heard her call an employee stupid and that was it for me. I will never enter that store again as long as she's employed there. I will encourage my friends, neighbors and co-workers not to patronize as well. Store was very neat and clean, aisles were walkable and no safety hazards that I have seen. One employee was stocking the shelves and very friendly when I greeted her. The other employee I saw was at the register and very helpful. Overall a very clean store as compared to some I have walked thru at times. This is the place to shop for great discounts. This Dollar Tree is in Cambridge Square, and all of the small businesses share a large and free parking lot. Seasonal merch is strategically placed so that they are the first things that customers see. After that, depending on which aisle the customers walk through, they'll could see housewares, kid's toys, games and books, personal care items, hair and skin products, things for your pets, and a whole lot more items. If you're looking for groceries or clothing, there are limited supplies of canned and boxed foods, and clothing looked like it was extremely limited only to socks. The only things that are refrigerated are individual cold beverages. You won't find anything fresh, like fruits or vegetables. Customers will find a large snack and candy aisle filled with many popular items that are priced a whole lot higher at other stores. For a store that gets picked over throughout the day, everything is kept generally organized. This store is clean. Due to inflation, the minimum prices have gone up to $1.25, which is the price of most of the items in inventory, although I believe some of the items were priced at $3 and $5. There are many name brand items scattered throughout the store, but most of the items sold here are have brands that are not well known, with packaging that are similar to the name brands. Customer service has always been great. The employees at the registers try to get customers through the line as efficiently and quickly as possible. Check out Dollar Tree, if you haven't already.
