Was walking around and we saw this store, wanted to go in and look at "vintagy" stuff for sale. We had our kido with us and decided it was still worth taking a look, regardless of the very hateful messages on the front door. Upon entering the owner told us we couldn't come in with our child because the business was, "too small." I literally was too confused to argue much but said something along the lines of, "that doesn't seem very accepting, even though your sign outside makes you seem, like you want to seem, "very accepting." Owner started freaking out, pretty sure he's on drugs, but that doesn't seem off par.. go woke, go broke? Bet this business only last a few more weeks.. zzzz

Prices are definitely good- they're not that steep and the store is so clean, bright, well stocked and has a nice layout and vibe.. it smells nice, which is a bonus! I've found sweaters new with original tag from Nordstrom and Macy's and even some Madewell.. I picked up some nice Hearth and Hand decorative objects, too- at a derp discount.. They get a ton of new revolving inventory daily, either new or barely used..you don't have to go hunting for the gem or bring sanitizer! As for clothing, they often have a lot of smaller sizes which suits me to a T. The prices might be slightly higher for true bargain hunters or folks who like the bins (not for me, though), but the inventory and sales people are so nice it's worth it! They have a decent return policy and slightly discount prices on stagnant inventory.. they have everything from clothes and outerwear to accessories, toys, furnishings and seasonal decor.

This store is - odd.. they do carry a wide variety of lightweight home furnishings and decor, seasonal items, beauty, clothing, shoes, housewares, toys, gourmet food items, accessories, and baby stuff.. but it's so disorganized.. it's nearly impossible to look for anything.. it's like if Dollar General and TJ Maxx had a baby- it could be Gabe's.. They occasionally have a few items of interest, yet the displays are awful) yet better than than in comparison to the day they first opened)........but it's always a bit of a eyesore.. it always seems as if the manager needs to straighten the place up.. it is chaos!! Or vest are hit or miss/ sometimes low, occasionally off the mark.. I remember visiting North Carolina and going to Gabe's. I love that it's a discounted bargain store. We pulled up and there's plenty of parking.
