When I tried to get the right order, he accused me of lying as if I am trying to get away with stealing 3 pieces of chicken! He said I was on camera and threatened to call the police. I told him to do it. He didn't but I did because my husband had told me this exact story over a month ago only the guy shorted him money. This is in a poor neighborhood where most people are afraid of the police. Another person taking advantage of the fact that people are too scared to call for help. Not me. The police said it was a civil matter and he would not be a show of force. All I asked the officer to do is to go inside with me to talk to him but he refused and said to file a complaint, so I am. This may sound even weirder, but I got the absolutely best pizza ever at this corner. Forget about Domino's and Papa's, Mama's, Marcos, and all their family. Pizza becomes pizza at this cute corner. Then, there's the doughnuts by boxes, the deals on bread and milk for the less fortunate of us, the ice cream (the ICE CREAM), the apple cider, the frozen cocacola... Employees are very friendly too, even when they don't have a good pay and are not treated fairly. Cute D is our mandatory stop without need of a reason. And that's the only thing our family agrees on. If you ever go to another state, you will know what I'm talking about. Some people think that lighthouses represent Michigan. I think QD is an icon that portraits a more satisfying side of Lansing. Right here, at this corner, QD is the perfect safe house to endure a zombie attack any day of the week.

I pressed the help button several times but no one came out or answered me. I tried tried to cancel the transaction but it wouldn't let me. I put the model back and went to another pump and hoped it would clear out itself if I gave it a minute. I went to another pump and the same thing happened and the first pump did not clear out on its own. I decided to go inside to ask for help. I went up to the door but noticed it was locked and there was a little sign (about the size of my hand) that said the pumps were now closing at 10 on Sundays. I waved to the worker inside so I could get some help clearing out the pumps that already took my credit card and we're now just waiting for someone to pump gas. The worked just yelled NO at me. I tried to explain through the door that I just needed help canceling my transactions so someone else didn't use my card once they opened but he just kept yelling no at me. He finally walked over the door without opening it to yell at me that they were closed. I said I know that now and I just need to cancel my transactions. He just yelled no again I finally just gave up and left. Hopefully they cancel out themselves over night I guess. There was no way to know they were closed from the street or from the pumps. Everything was lit up including the inside of the store. No closed sign on the door or the pumps. Not only did this guy watch me struggling and not let me know what was going on but acted actively mad at me for being there when they were closed even though there is no way I could've known. I wasn't begging him to give me gas after closing or something, I just wanted to cancel my transactions.. but he just yelled at me for no reason and made me feel like I did something wrong. In any case, it seems to me that what sets one of these "party stores" apart from the rest is the "personality" of the clerk behind the counter. Maybe price, but let's face it, a store of convenience can afford to gouge a little. Maybe you go back to them because it's the only one you can get to, but if you have a choice, I have found the "attitude" of this shop to be very engaging.
