I ended up also getting chocolate milk and paper towels because they have a large variety of things. The 5 minutes I was in the lot I was asked for change by a few people. This store is near a shelter. Jamestown, like many places, is in the grips of a heart breaking drug problem currently. This is very evident down in Brooklyn square parking lots right now. There are 3 large pharmacies, medical offices, shelters, a soup kitchen, urgent care, and the hospital all in very short walking distance of this place. Update : I had to return something I bought here the other day and the women working were wicked witches. Seriously, I have the $15 junk with it's package, tags, bag, and receipt...why is this such a hassle?

I spent way less here than I had at places much farther away. I'm so impressed at all of the awesome things I found! I can't wait to go back again!! The only criticism I have is the hours are inconvenient for some who work until 430 or 5 such as myself. The store is closed by the time I get out of work and you need to plan some time to look around!!

I like this one and when shopping Walmart tend to shop here rather than where I usually hang just south of the state boarder in Warren, Pennsylvania. In this Walmart at least you can buy wine and beer. You can't do that in Pennsylvania as wine may only be sold in high priced state owned stores and beer only at a premium price from a beer of liquor licensed bar or beer distributor. Ugh! This Walmart Supercenter also has a much better selection in food. Like they even carry buffalo which is my most favored meat as the diet of the buffalo is basically antibiotic and growth hormone free, plus it's far less fatty.

As per the name, most items have a more rustic/country/antiqued look to them. This isn't really my mom or my decorating style, but we still found items that we liked. They carry everything from curtains, lamps, wall art, pillows, quilts, decorative containers, candles, ornaments and more for home decor. There was also a large Vera Bradley section, as well as some other bags and accessories with a bit of a vintage/historical flair. If you are driving through the area, it is a neat place to check out that carries a lot of different things that you won't find at the big box stores.

My first attempt at ordering had a few glitches, so I e-mailed the owner through the link she provided. She got back to me within 12 hours and low and behold, I had entered the information incorrectly. After placing my order, I received an e-mail conformation, and was subsequently notified when my order had been shipped. To summarize; I placed my order on a Tuesday, and had a finished product on my doorstep that following Monday. I hope to order the same product in a different colour in the near future, and I highly recommend this this company.

We arrived in Jamestown late afternoon on a recent Monday, conducted a bit of personal business, then decided to go to dinner. We did not realize that most restaurants roll up (not out) the carpet Mondays. There was simply no place open for a quick dinner. Fortunately we stopped for gas and were pleasantly surprised at that Red Apple was open and able to make some fresh, hot food that fit our needs. Very congenial staff, fairly good selection of items from which to choose...and fresh sandwiches made to order.

I think they have those prices to trap busy truckers passing through. $7.10 for a sparse 6 inch sub and small bag of chips. Super nice full service gas pump attendees 6am-6pm for a section of pumps.
