I went to this store three days in a row to get the boneless ribeye roast advertised three days in…read morea row at about 10:00 to 11.00 AM. All three times they were out, but they had ribeye steaks, which are cut from...ribeye roast. I was a butcher for fifteen years and know bad orders happen, but this is clearly intentional to boost the gross profit percent through deception and down right corrupt. I have also gone there five times for advertised bacon. out each time. I drove over ten miles each time. Very expensive for switch and bait. The mgr called me after I presented this complaint to the store and was very apologetic and promised they would have the roasts all of the next two days. Went back just after 3:00 the next day and they only had the vacuum bagged ribeyes for one dollar more. This guy never runs out of tricks to keep his profit above ad prices. This has much less labor involved because they only have to weigh and put out. The clerk acted like I was stupid for wanting an item after the butcher left at two. There were no stockers yet they had canned goods, bread, produce, drinks, etc. We ALWAYS had backup meat on racks in the back to keep the counter full. I worked several stores for three companies and we would have been fired for intentionally not having products this consistently. I was offered the sale price but it would have been 70 dollars for the whole ribeye! This has ruined my Christmas plans.

I was so ...just grateful that the manager or the REAL MANAGER Rodney had already left me a voicemail apologizing and that was all I needed and I was on to the next topic. Honestly just a way of letting a customer down but without it being confrontational. I never got even " I'm sorry, our policy is..." you know? So I spoke to Rodney and he made everything right and I was not aware that that particular Ollie's has gone through some transforming and a lot of hard work so I understand things are a work in progress. I know I am! Thank you Rodney for being a perfect example for your staff how Customer Service can be received with just the wrong tone or facial expression. Good luck snd we will most definitely be back to spend $$$$ ! Thanks for the resolution I needed walking out of that store .

Unlike any thrift store I've ever been to (and we go to a lot!), this one has a cafe inside it! Herry's Cafe has a separate Yelp listing: https://www.yelp.com/biz/herrys-cafe-homosassa-springs, but since that listing is just for the cafe, it seems like the thrift store should have a listing of its own. It's not a huge thrift store, but it's very clean and fun to browse -- everything was well organized and they had a puzzle going on one of the tables that Ashley had fun finding a few pieces to. There was a pretty good assortment of knick-knacks, coffee mugs, jewelry, and a lot of sterling silver jewelry and even some gold stuff. No crazy deals on the silver & gold...most thrift stores have caught on that these things are actually worth something these days, but the prices were still reasonable for the pieces....if you need a nice piece of jewelry, it's certainly more affordable than going to a big box store. Ashley found a pair of shoes, and I think they only came to a few dollars - you can't beat it! If we were local, this is definitely a thrift store we'd add to our regular weekend shopping/browsing circuit. We didn't order anything from the adjoining cafe, but the food looked good and the prices were very affordable.
