They must do a good job enforcing consignment rules because I never see clothing or goods that are not in good condition. It's consignment so prices vary, but overall I am really impressed with the way consigners price here. Most prices are very fair and reasonable. The store color codes their tags and 1 color is 50% off and 1 is 75% off each week. Most of the workers are older ladies and they are all kind, friendly, and seem to enjoy their work there as volunteers. I love shopping at this place. Maybe this is a 'training' store and they just put people at this store to see how they do, like a test. Because she isn't the first one. This has been a poorly managed store for quite a while now. Before the pandemic!!! The shelves are never stocked well!! Even sale items, or especially sale items?! There is rarely a time that I have gone in there and left without 2, 3 sometimes 4 or more items on my list. The deli employees aren't very friendly but maybe I always catch them after Cheryl's been around with her sourpuss attitude. The problem is that I like the Kroger brand for a lot of items, not everything of course, but I don't particularly want to switch stores even tho I don't think Kroger has the best prices. I was looking for a particular item and they were out of it. Surprise. However, for this item I had even stopped at another Kroger store and they didn't have any either. This is something that I have started having for breakfast every morning and possibly the healthiest thing I eat some days :-) So, I actually got on the manufacturer's website to check and see if I could find some...somewhere. It was kinda late the 1st nite I looked and I didn't have any luck checking the Kroger stores. The next day I got back on the website and low and behold, now it showed that a shipment had been delivered to my local store "within the last 3 days". Yeah. I was thrilled. So, later that evening I went to buy some. Nada, zero, zilch. So, I went to the C/S desk to ask for help. Bless her heart, she tried to find someone to help me, to check and see if they had received a shipment. But, nobody would answer her page. Finally Cheryl called and was too busy to check but said to tell me that they didn't have any. Huh ? Now, I COMPLETLY understand that right now there are extreme circumstances...everywhere!!! I get that!!! I truly do. I also understand that this website I checked could be wrong. Had this been the 1st time I'd been unhappy with her or this store it would be a totally different situation. But it's not. Far from it. Oh and when I went to the store this last time, I left without 5 different things on my list. No, none of the items were cleaning products or toilet paper. And right now, with this pandemic, I only go in for a handful of things at a time. I try to get in and get out. I'm not a germaphobe or anything like that and the area that I live in hasn't had a high number of cases of this virus. But, why chance it. So when I go in for maybe 10 or 12 items and they don't have 5 of them, that's a lot. Now, I do want to point out that the CASHIERS are WONDERFUL!!! Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. But there it is, back off the road, in what looks like a converted warehouse. Right beside the little diner, right across from a little fake lighthouse. Inside it is twice as big as any Dollar General I've ever seen. All the usual items, but lots more variety. I was looking for an unusual cereal, and found it. They only had a couple boxes, but I snagged them. Service was super friendly. Prices are decent though not great. Handy if you are vacationing in the area.

The utility sink backs up with human feces from the cheap plumbing in the bathrooms in the stockroom where food is kept. (Trust me, I worked there) when I called corporate to get an explanation I got the run around and given wrong numbers. A multi million dollar company that craps on good employees and doesn't care for customer service one bit but will continue to steal your money by ripping you off with small quantities. I don't like the claustrophobic feeling because everything is displayed so close together and I HATE the smell of thrift stores. With that being said, this thrift store is different. The lay out is much better. There is actually space to walk without running into things. The quality of merchandise is better. My husband & I bought a BRAND NEW tv stand for $100. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Shout out to Seth & Wayne for being an amazing help to us on a busy weekend.
