I was on a long six + hour drive and I needed a bathroom, a good stretch and some junk food. I took the Harrisonville exit off Hwy 171 and I saw the sign! The heaven sent sign that flashed red neon to me with one glorious word "PIZZA". Yes! Convenience store pizza is one of my many weaknesses. I knew this was the place for me to stop. Only it really wasn't, after all. For starters the bathroom was this odd configuration and it was very old. There was no bathroom sink which kinda creeped me out. There was a sink in the hallway that was shared with the men using the men's room. Odd, indeed. It was okay, though, because I was about to buy convenience store pizza! Only I wasn't. I looked and looked and went down the dusty aisles and not a badly lit rotating pizza display machine in sight. I asked the gum chewing cashier about the pizza and she said, "Yeah, we used to have pizza. We don't sell it anymore." When I reminded her of the sign, she just shrugged. False and misleading advertising! The cashier was pleasant enough but she could not produce pizza out of thin air. I'll know better next time.

The experience in the store is a weird one too - employees are very monotone and mundane and seem as though they're fed lines. Sure, you may be able to get good deals on shoes like Nikes, but don't even think about purchasing one of their non name brand shoes. Also, good luck finding shoes in normal sizes (like women's 8 or 9!) I will not be buying shoes there again.

Walmart in Harrisonville Mo. Has a terrible problem with their credit card system. This is the…read moreonly store that I have an issue everything I shop there. I got an oil change a couple days ago, the cashier k ew the trick so she inserted my card 3 times then swiped it before it would work. Today I went to get my prescriptions, again, denied, denied denied. They too knew the trick, insert card in reader 3 times ,get denial then swipe. Only it didn't work over there. I walked away "without" my prescriptions and went on thru the store picked up essentials and headed to checkout. The guy at checkout also knew the trick and he also stated that in the electronics dept. It's the worst, everyday. Anyway inverted card 3 times, denied then swipe and it processed. So then I went back to pharmacy had to wait for then to put my order together AGAIN. I then took my prescriptions to front register when I left my purchased items earlier and did the whole insert card 3xs again and then swipe before it would process my card. Really Wal-Mart!!!!!! This is not acceptable. This happens everytime I shop there and since the employees know it's an issue don't you think it's time to fix the problem. I know I'm not the only one having this issue. I will take my business elsewhere if this does not get resolved, I am not going thru the Hassel evertime I shop.
