The prices seems to be doubled from the stores but the fruit and veggies are fresh and tasty. There was one bag of Ranier Cherries left and I snagged them up! They were juicy and sweet, but so darn expensive. I asked about the price of their (seedless) watermelon and was told it would be around $10-$12 dollars. Now, this is the same size that you'd find in your local grocery store AND it had the #4032 store code sticker attached to each melon. Hmmmm! This 16oz local honey that I purchased for $11 better give me a pick me up! The owner and employees are very friendly. You don't have to ask for help, they automatically pick up your box and take it to your car, after checkout. I believe this is the same guy that used to sit in the front lot of the Price Chipper on 103rd, between State Line & Holmes. Will I return? Probably but I would get as much as I did the first time.

All sorts of craft products. My honey vendor decided to take the day off, as they do frequently, so I missed them and I will return. I grabbed some cheese and bread which my wife and I will enjoy. I got there so late that there wasn't much produce left.

They have a cool grassy (fake) sitting area outside the indoor market. It was so hot last week, so the indoor option is excellent. They also had a couple of food trucks outside serving breakfast and lunch. They have live music and some seating at the market, but you could also bring chairs or a blanket.

They carry products that most people want, the produce department has the basic fruits and vegetables and you're likely not going to find some exotic fruit, but that's okay. However, they do change things up and carry different items throughout the year so you likely will find something interesting that you've never seen anywhere else! Give Aldi a try and you might get hooked, too!

There is a reason things are marked down so cheap; preparing a dinner for that evening - go for it. Stocking up for the week - think twice. My favorite bargains are when avocados are 4 / $1 or flats of bananas are $3. A great way to overindulge on some tasty guacamole (get the seasoning next door) or a cheap healthy treat for the office staff. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd visit daily and knock down my grocery bill by 75%.

Then I saw this quaint Asian store and knew I had to stop. Crossing over the threshold into this store takes you into another world. The father owns two stores- one in Topeka and one in Overland Park. The son runs this store and he could not have been more helpful. He took the time to help me find my items and he explained how of the ingredients could be used. I had a million questions and he did not bat an eye. He was helpful, patient and kind. One thing I noticed is that the son/owner knew most of his customers by name. There seemed to be bevy of repeat customers because they were all familiar with each other. He even remembered what they had purchased on their last trip to the store. There were plenty of dry goods. This store had everything from sweets to plantain chips. Such a wide variety. They !so had a well stocked frozen section, too. They had plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, too. The produce was in the cooler and it all looked very fresh. The prices seemed very reasonable considering that most of the items had to be shipped long distances and this is a small store. I was not unhappy with the prices at all. There was plenty of parking in a big lot outside. This store is in a busy strip mall but parking does not seem to be an issue. There was also easy access to this store from the street. The pizza guy gave us some good intel on what to get and not get, and our pies were made perfectly and brought out hot to us. I had a peanut butter explosion and the other ladies had some fun frosted sugar cookies. For me the cookies were too crumbly but they loved them. The reason for 3 stars was lack of customer service. I had to go to the front to get cups for soft drinks. The woman I approached didn't say 1 word to me when I told her what I needed. She just walked away to a register where she rang in my purchase. It would have been nice had she said, "follow me," or "I can help you with that." But i figured out what she was doing and paid at the register and then told her I had a problem. She said, "what?" with an irritated tone. I told her I needed the cups I had just paid for. Again, she walked away from me, apparently expecting me to follow her, and I did. Then she asked another employee to hand me the cups. The other woman did that and I thanked her. The cashier who rang up our few groceries was pleasant and the bagger actually joked with me, so at least I had that as I was leaving.
