If you love Antiques, collectibles and Junktiques, this is a great place to stop when passing…read morethrough Beaumont. Right off IH10EB at Calder Ave, 1/2 block east of the interstate. Very easy to find. It has room after room after room of items and even an upstairs with multiple rooms. If you are looking for anything old, start here 1st. If you are someone who works in movie set designs ( I know it's a speciality job), you might find something you don't have to add to your own inventory. Just so you know, I don't know the owners and I don't work for this place and no family members or friends work for this place. I just happened upon it today and was blown away at how much they had on hand and I did buy something. This is just a review to help all those that like to look for old treasures and need a short break and want to find a bargain and might not know this place exist right off IH-10. Beaumont is a good place to stop before reaching Houston WB or to stop before you exit the state EB heading to Baton Rouge. - [ ] P.S. Travel Tip. For cheap gas, (like 20 cents a gal cheaper than on the interstate), take the College St exit for US 90, go West bound on US 90 for about 2 miles and you will reach the intersection with FM 364, and you will see a Speedy Stop station on the left, many pumps, clean rest rooms and food. If you are heading West to Houston you can a left at the light at FM 364 and it will bring you back to IH -10. If you are heading East to Baton Rouge, you just head back in the direct you came from to catch IH-10 EB. Safety note: if you are heading to Houston, I always take US 90 west from here because the interstate between Beaumont and Winnie is Notorious for highway accidents because of the construction going on and the poor signing for traffic control TxDOT and the construction company continues to allow to exist. Their solution is to keep lowering the speed limit instead of fixing the signing and to warning drivers further in advance for lane shifts and other changes not expected by normal drivers. AVOID IH-10 WB to Houston by taking US 90 West where it will merge with IH-10 at the Loop 610 in Houston. Drive safe. Sorry for getting off topic. This Antique shop is a great place to stop, Safe Travels.

I think the owner caught a catchy name, Alibaba Liquidation. No kidding. They sell imports from…read moreChina I'm huge quantities. They don't have display cases, but huge boxes of merchandise as seen on Amazon (not TV). I don't think it's related to the internationally known e-commerce website. Alibaba is also the main character from the famous Arabian folk tale. Any ways, as I was saying, don't think all products from China look cheap. They're seriously made for high end consumers. Like cell phone accessories brand LeYi. I never knew this brand until I bought a cell phone case from Amazon. They got unique design and functionality. Yesterday July 31 was their first day. I arrived around 3 pm. They were busy unloading and setting up the shop. There were few customers. Employees greeted everyone as we came in. Prices are still handwritten on the crates. I saw $1, $2, $3, $4, $5... But I saw nice stuff in the crates. Oh, they take cash and credit cards. I wasn't planning to stay long because I could overspend for trinkets. Some items can become customized gifts for businesses. I'll be back when we can safely meet in person. Because I will buy a bunch of stuff for my meetup giveaways. **Updated after my second visit and chatted with co-owner Jason** They have plan to expend this operation to 10 stores in Houston. I think it's a great concept. I wish them luck and I will be back every month to see new products.

I've only visited one other Ollie's prior to arriving here and this location wasn't anywhere close to my other experience and I mean that in a bad way. It's literally Impossible to locate anything without searching through the entire store, it's total chaos, there are no aisle identifiers, in my opinion it's more of a bad flea market than a retail store. I was looking for a specific item and after only a few minutes I knew that wasn't going to happen even if I had found members of the staff to assist me so I gave up after walking around aimlessly. I could be wrong but I don't think this was the original business model the founder intended, I understand the majority of the items here are sourced from over-stock suppliers and meant to provide huge discounts but the "good stuff cheap" company statement couldn't be further from the truth at this particular location - I'd definitely avoid buying food stuff here no matter how cheap things are there is no way the inventory is rotated or managed in my opinion nothing is managed here, how this store remains open is a mystery to me this was definitely not a good experience, the photos posted by the business owner had to be taken when the store was originally set up before the grand opening and doesn't remotely represent what I witnessed today...
