I was interested in introducing Mrs. K. to the Texas concept of H-E-B having blown her mind a few months back when we stopped at a Wegman's in the Northeast. We were not needing anything today when we stepped inside and I managed to protect our wallet as we did some exploring. On a Monday afternoon while most were probably still at work, the store was lively without being chaotic. Produce was stacked and displayed neatly in a rainbow of colors including tomatoes, oranges, grapes and lettuce. We wandered the aisles at an easy pace and she more than once pointed out that the store looked clean and organized. By the time we departed, she understood why Texans have a special pride in this grocery chain. And thankfully we managed to not fill a shopping cart with stuff! The worst heb in texas. There is barely any parking, the store was a Safeway many years ago making it very little.

Called the store on Thursday inquiring about live crawfish. Was told by the female on the phone that if we arrive at 6 am on Saturday that we could purchase as much or as little as we wanted. Arrived at 6 am and was told they only sell by the 35 lb sack. Manager should inform the employees answering the phone of this. read more

This is a smaller HEB so I didn't expect it to have variety of products as others. The plus is that it also has gas station. We stopped by for beers and everything that we wanted so it was all good. My one and only visit was during the height of COVID pandemic (pre-vaccine) and noticed that mask-wearing were not enforced. the selection at this specific heb is subpar and small. some of the shelves completely empty. lots of heb products that are not available at this store. read more

The stores extremely nasty smells like sewer outside and inside. Horrible horrible place to shop. We don't have much in Livingston HEB, Walmart in Brookshire's. All of the stores are over 20 to 40 years old. Disgusting places each one of them to shop. I don't know why HEB doesn't put a supercenter there because I would put Walmart out of business. read more

Worst H-E-B I have ever seen, ceiling falling and wires hanging out. No deli, no bakery, no grocery pick up. Plus it is old and the shelves are bare. This is no longer a COVID 19 issue. I will not return to this store again or any H-E-B for that matter. read more

Great store with gas station at competitive prices. Excellent employees with caring attention towards the customers. Sundays are busy but checkouts moved along smoothly. Sunday noon also have several food taste testing through out the store. Thus the only store that has cinnamon pecans within about 50 miles from me. I'll definitely will be back! read more

Amazing place. Produce is good and fresh although the selection isn't as big as Kroger (no yellow beets or dragonfruit), lots of Texas-made products, and the meats are excellent - also they always have pork AND beef neck bones in stock. Really a poor selection in comparison to other HEB stores. Maybe the worst HEB I've ever been to from a product selection perspective.

This is a much smaller H-E-B than you might see in the city. If you're planning on stopping in to grab something on your way to a relative's house be warned that it is limited to a small grocery store. There's none of the fancy newer food court offerings that you might find in a newer location. read more

I bought a sack of crawfish from this location this morning and about a quarter of the sack was dead. Not only that, the sack was overpriced. But it was the closest place that had them. When I called to report the issue the manager was VERY defensive and unprofessional. So I HIGHLY recommend people DO NOT choose this location for their crawfish boils!!! read more
