I went up and down isles looking for the cart as I figured someone may have taken it by mistake. They pointed to an officer at the middle of the store and said that I should go see him. I did and after over 1 1/2 hors, no cart. They even checked the cameras and said that I was in an off camera angle, so they could not see who took the cart. I finally asked to have the officer go with me to Pharmacy and see if I could at least get the item I paid for replaced. They said I needed a receipt and would not go with me. I went to the Pharmacy and the woman had put the receipt in the bag that was taken. The officer went to the store manager, who is worthless and came back and said that I was out of luck as technically the item was still somewhere in the store, but they didn't know where. SO, I was out of luck at that point!!!!!!!!

That wouldn't be so bad, except that there weren't any sales associates around who could open up the glass case for me. I decided to go elsewhere for a can of Krylon instead. Much of the men's underwear was also locked away in a glass case. Not the good moisture-wicking stuff, mind you. It was the cheaper Fruit of the Loom underwear that was locked away, bizarrely enough. Do they really have a problem with people stealing or vandalizing the cheap underwear? And not the more expensive stuff? Again, this wouldn't be a bit deal if a sales associate was available. The grocery selection wasn't great in comparison to the other Walmart locations either. And many of their suitcases had no price tags or price signage available. How do they expect to sell these things? This strikes me as a place where the management has pretty much given up on trying to sell stuff.

I recently purchased some candied pecans from Aldis and was bummed to find out they were seasonal and no longer available and when I browsed the nut section I was super excited to find some at Trader Joe's today during my visit. It was a little busy today which is expected since it's the weekend. However the cashiers were super friendly as always and got me in and out. The store was neat, clean, fully stocked and it was a perfect visit for my first official grocery store run of 2025!!!!

They have all the essentials of any drug store including a pharmacy, but what sets DDM apart is that they have an array of fresh grocery items, a full wine/beer aisle, large freezer section, and a deli where you can get fresh sliced meats and cheeses. The seasonal aisle is ALWAYS on point and has great deals for things like Halloween or Valentine's Day candy. This location also has one of the only Fresh Pet refrigerators in the area. It's usually heavily stocked with fresh foods and snacks for cats and dogs (at a better price than Pet Supplies Plus). The thing I love most about this store, is that it is super neighborhood centered and provides a great option for people who live nearby but have no transportation, or a hard time getting around to major grocery stores. The cashiers are friendly, and overall I think people are generally happy just being here. I know I am.
