My husband has been here in the past year of moving to the area many times for takeout till we had power. We absolutely love their hot dogs!! He was told they deep fry them that's why they are good. I am not a hot dog fan but I can eat these and enjoy them!! (Have you ever seen how hot dogs are made?? ) They call them loaded with everything on them coleslaw and more! They are on a fresh soft roll!! Amazing!! We have also have had the hamburgers not a fan. They do have chili fries that are good too. We have eaten inside a couple of times, it was kinda like a farm set up. Tables on one side produce on the other. While sitting inside we noticed they have a lot of locals coming in to buy their produce , we did see some prices and they are much higher than a grocery store but they sell what they grow. Since Covid we stopped in one day and we noticed things have changed, they remodeled and made the front counter longer. They were not open for serving food. A friend told us about this Location that there is a meat market here with great meat. This is located across from the post office we go to. Come to find out the name has changed from Sammy's to Drop in Family Market. I had just bought a bunch of meat to freeze so I waited to buy anything. Just wanted but will for sure come back real soon to buy some steaks. Crazy we hadn't heard about this place before now. Over all it's a good size store and they carry pretty much everything you need. Clean and welll organized. Besides being a gas station. Will be back soon and will update then.

So I canceled that order. However, when I rescheduled it for express I accidentally doubled some of the quantities and didn't realize it until it was delivered. The delivery itself went smoothly. I opted to keep some of the extra and returned 3 items, but was only required to return 1 of the items. I then ended up donating the other 2 items I didn't have to return but recieved a refund for to my church's children's department. Win win!!!

I fueled up the Jeep here before heading out for the day, the pumps are old so there is no "pay at the pump" option but they worked just fine, it was kinda cool the pumps are all metal no plastic parts so there's lots banging and clanging when removing and replacing the nozzle. The interior of the store as you'd expect in such a remote location is filled with a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything with the exception of the wine section, it seemed to be well stocked. The young woman tending the store today was very friendly and full of local knowledge. It's a great place to grab a few items but definitely not a place you'd want to shop for all your needs - it's definitely a niche business so the prices are what they are and it's convenient, it certainly can save you a long drive and save you lots of time...

The store is very large so I didn't get to see all of it. They had an area with nice tables where you could sit and eat. I have never seen brewed tea in a grocery store before and wanted to get some but couldn't find the cups. The prices were about average on some things but above average on others. A gallon of milk was 2.00 more at this store than the Walmart we went to earlier in the week. I like that they had a section for many bulk items with bags and stickers but no pen to write with. Both self checkouts and cashiers were available.

On separate occasions over this past week, the following has occurred: 1) When asking the customer service counter to check lottery tickets, the young male said it was outside his pay grade and referred someone to else. 2) While checking out, the young girl behind the customer service counter was sneaking puffing on her vape. Just before that, a manager was stocking the candy section at the register without saying anything only for me to have bumped into it and excusing myself. He probably should have waited for customers not to be at a register or at least acknowledged he was there. 3) Asked two people at the deli if they had banana pudding and they said they were out, only to find out they had an entire pan and a half as I walked further down. 4) If you don't have an Ingles card, the cashier didn't even know to ask the customer if they would like one to register. These are 100% a store manager issue and easy things to correct. As of now, it's chaos.
