I was looking for a bookstore that wasn't something from a box store. Ollie's popped up and was…read morereviewed well, so I checked it out with my son. I've never heard of Ollie's, so I really didn't have expectations going in. I just wanted books. Normally, I'd remove a full star for cleanliness (I have a South Phoenix, ghetto background), but oddly, it didn't bother me because this store is obviously very old. The book section delivered, and my son found a full fantasy book set as well as a cook book. I found a set of bowls I can use for leftovers. And wtf they have furniture?! They don't deliver, but that is listed in their rules but Jesus fuck, that's a great price! I wouldn't buy food here, but that's only because as I've grown, I've gone to bougie farmers markets in Phoenix. But if you're on a strict budget? This place is fantastic! I signed up for the rewards program (seriously, you can't go wrong with this), and the cashier explained everything. I'd 1000%, one million percent recommend this place. If you're on a budget, this is definitely worth checking. There's truly no shame in saving a few extra bucks, especially in our economy. I loved this and I will definitely return. As a side note, my mother in law would DESPISE this place, which is all the more reason for me than establish my white trash paradise. If you DO judge white trash, just remember: we have WAY more fun than middle and upper class because we don't give two f*cks about appearance. We just know how to love better on a budget.

It's easy to overspend (if you're on a budget) because you see things you didn't intent to get but you do because you can't beat the prices. If you're looking for "truck/car" tools you don't mind if they go missing, this is a pretty cheap source. A lot of Chinesium cheap stuff, but there are some quality name brand items mixed in. Don't miss going back into the warehouse area, lots of office/desk type furniture and items. One time they had surplus Civil Defense radiac meters (for Cold War collectors) pretty cheap. Lots of surplus SUV's out front, but most looked pretty used/inop. Might be good if looking for project parts.

I have to admit I was impressed with the fact that they have 34 doors of refrigerated/freezer offerings. They do sell beer and wine, but no craft beer. They have cosmetics, meds, party supplies, snacks, home decor, and kitchen supplies just the name a few. If you can't make it to the Brookshire Brothers just a mile down the road, this is a good stop. You will be paying convenient store prices here, but at least they have a pretty well stocked inventory on the shelves with a few out of stocks. I did notice that the floors were really dirty. It should be mentioned, they do not have a public bathroom.

Even though it wasn't my top choice, it was still nice to see some stock instead of completely empty displays, which is pretty common these days. While this trip wasn't a total win for what I originally wanted, it was still a decent stop and worth checking when they restock.

The lines were long even with the one self check out. Two cashiers in the back. They were moving the lines quick one after the other. Donna was nice with a smile. She asked me, how I was doing and if I had found every thing that I needed. I found that and more. The price was right on the products and they kept it at a dollar.
