Inside you will find a very impressive coffee station and a fresh kitchen. Also inside, you will find the usual weenie rollers with all the fixings along with an impressive number of drinks stations. There are hot grab and go and cold grab and go food items. They sell every imaginable alcoholic and non-alcoholic canned and bottled item and even have a small amount of craft beer. There is an ATM, ice, but propane tanks are not available here. If you do decide to get something from the kitchen, they do have two outdoor tables to sit at. I've written up a number of these Quiktrips and they are designed to beat the competition on all counts. Plenty of photos included to prove it.

I have a real love/hate relationship with this store. Let's start with the things I love: The staff…read moreis always friendly, the store is really clean, and the price for gas is usually reasonable. The selection of food and drinks is HUGE, so that's a plus. Nevertheless, QT's prices are higher than most other convenience stores in the area for nearly everything sold inside. For instance, I came in recently for a gallon of milk and it was priced at $7.99. Not organic or any of that other fancy stuff, just a gallon of good ol' fashioned 2% cow milk. $7.99. That's a record in my experience for a gallon of milk. Today a gallon of milk was $6.89 here at QT while it's $4.89 at 7-11 and $3.52 a gallon at HEB. To make matters worse, a few weeks ago I went in for another gallon of their high-priced milk and there was only ONE left, and it expired the same day. I asked if I could have it at a discount and was told NO! That was annoying. At the Circle K across the street, a gallon of milk is under $5.00. If Circle K's milk is about to expire, they'll usually give it to you for free if you let a clerk there know it's about to pass. Needless to say, I don't buy milk at QT anymore if I can help it. Also, I've never eaten a roller dog from this QT because every single time I try, I find that the hot dog buns are stale and hard as a rock. The breakfast tacos here are awful, too, but for some reason I don't quite understand myself, I keep eating them. In addition, this QT has never been a great place to buy wine because their wine offering is minimal at best. But the thing that pissed me off the most was that one week when for some reason, the sugar-free cappuccino I was getting here nearly every day began tasting a bit lemony instead of the usual caramel white chocolate flavor. At first I didn't think much of it, but then after about the fourth time I went in for my sugar-free cappuccino and tasted lemon, I said something to the manager about it. He checked and discovered that the sugar-filled lemon-flavored cappuccino container was in place inside where the sugar-free cappuccino dispenser was supposed to be! As such, I had been unknowingly drinking sugar all week! I'm not supposed to have sugar, damnit! Now every time I go in for a cappuccino I have to open up the dispenser to check that the powder canister inside is the sugar-free one so it doesn't kill me.

I really recommend their bagels. Fresh, tasty. Also, Christmas items in clearance were very inexpensive and I found a few great decorative items and baking stuff. They have Starbucks which makes it so convenient. Coffee tasted somewhat old, but barista was very accommodating and brewed a fresh one. Definitely want to go back to shop.

I didn't manage to grab a photo of it, but there was a bunch of crushed hot Cheetos on some clothes. Please see the photos and see for yourself. I'm not blaming the employees because I suspect that the store is very shortstaffed and not being given the payroll budget they need to hire additional help. On the day I went shopping I ran into so many customers not even wanting to shop for clothes because of how disorganized and messy everything was. And it's not just messy. It's unsanitary! With flu and cold season coming up, this is absolutely unacceptable.

So off I went to order curbside, and wow, what an experience. First of all, curbside here is chef's kiss. They've got their own dedicated area off to the side, away from the parking lot chaos. No fighting with other customers who think your reserved spot is fair game. Nope, this is a curbside oasis. There are plenty of spots, and the in-and-out process is smoother than a perfectly ripe avocado. The store itself looks great from the outside--pristine, shiny, and promising. I haven't been inside yet (I mean, why bother when curbside is this good?), but I've heard the Texas BBQ inside is legendary. And now I'm torn: do I break my streak of grocery-store efficiency and go in for brisket, or do I stay loyal to my curbside kingdom? Decisions, decisions. In conclusion, this H-E-B has me contemplating a long-term relationship. I might just keep coming here, even if it's a bit of a drive. Who knew I'd get so sentimental about parking spots and stocked shelves? Next thing you know, I'll be writing sonnets about their tortilla factory.

I found a planner at a great price months ago, but I couldn't find any today. I did find a bunch of other items they have here. That's how it works right? You go to the store for one item and come out with a bunch of other stuff. There is always a lot to look at here. Pro tip: plastic bags are like the golden ticket here - find a self check out register with them or bring your own reusable bag. Employees greet you here when you walk in so that is always plus.

It's full of Asian snacks and skincare, dishes, calendars, toys, stationary, etc. Everything is priced fairly cheap- it's surprisingly affordable! You do have to read the pricing key to understand the price of all items but they're posted almost everywhere so there's very little confusion! The store is a good size but the isles are very narrow so prepare to run a couple shoulders when passing through.
