I went there a few days ago to do a bottle redemption; I had a bag full of 7 bottles, but only one bottle was accepted. The rest were rejected. And all the bottles I tried putting in the machines were brands carried by Wegmans (Brisk, Vitamin Water, Snapple, etc), plus they had 5¢ deposits marked on them. I tried feeding them into the machines, but I kept repeatedly getting error messages from the machines. Customer service did squat for me except give me 5¢ for the one bottle that was accepted. Come here for groceries, but go elsewhere for bottle redemption.

Then I noticed there was a sale in the cookie aisle - particularly a brand of ginger snaps: Score!! The meat aisle is fantastic if you buy in bulk - buy large quantities and chopping it up at home myself has become my go-to way to save money.

They posted a fabulous deal and all their whole roasts, so I had to scramble my kids into the car and get down there to grab some bargains! Once inside the store, my first stop is at the butcher department. Ring the bell and a very helpful young man will come out and load my cart with the meats. The Brass family has owned and operated this business for over 100 years. Annually they celebrate their birthday by discounting many products throughout the store as a way of thinking they're loyal customers. Just another way of exhibiting their hospitality and care for the community.

They were handing out small shopping lists of items that are vital for their ministry, and they advised us that skinless chicken breast was their most urgent need. We were very glad to help, and we're happy to see that Save A Lot gave these people an opportunity to share the gospel at their store.
