It's a wonderful establishment for family photos, meeting Santa and hanging out by a fire. You will see a lot of pay it forward while waiting to pay for your tree which is quite special! The best part of Country Pine Farm is that once you cut your tree down, the Country Pine Farm workers will haul it for you to be bundled. There is no trekking through the snow or mud carrying a tree! I grabbed a gallon of maple syrup and a little red pick up truck decoration. We also grabbed a grilled cheese sandwich from their kitchen area. Which was delicious on the car ride back to the city. There's nothing like a pleasant little drive to a pleasant little tree farm on a pleasant little…read moreday. Ok, so I've been itching to get our family out to a cut-your-own tree farm for YEARS. We usually go to a nursery, which is fine, but I just want that farm experience, you know? (Maybe I'm just cut from a different cloth. But hey, here we are.) My dad actually found out about this place, and we decided to give it a whirl. We've really been looking more fun/outdoor activities to do since the pandemic, so it seemed now they were a little bit more inclined to dive in and check out a cut-your-own farm. It was fairly busy when we pulled up, but there's enough land to keep yourself socially distant! I'm pretty sure this place is a little family-owned spot, but there were plenty of people around willing to give us a little bit of guidance being our first time. We were given a general idea of what kinds of trees we'd be able to find on the farm, where we could find them, and they provided plenty of tools for us to use if we'd like to (a pole to measure tree height, saw to cut it ourselves if we'd like, etc). We actually chickened out last minute and had some of the staff help us take down a tree we'd picked out, but it's cool! They handle everything for you if you'd like, cutting and carrying the tree, wrapping it up, helping attach it to the car. Trees here were only $45, no matter what size. That's right. Big trees. Little trees. Doesn't matter. And these aren't some poor looking trees, either. Thick, full, and healthy as heck, because they're growing right out of the ground! Ok, the tree we picked out ended up being a *little* bit crooked, but it's possibly the best tree we've ever owned. I know for a FACT we will be returning to this farm to pick out our Christmas tree next year. Maybe even for the years to come! We really enjoyed our time here and I'd totally recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for some wintertime agritourism.

They have a ton of plants to pick from - even early on in the season. From annuals and perennials of flowers and then vegetables, tropical indoor to amazing outdoor plants. And unlike some places - the people who work here grow the plants - so guess what - they are extremely knowledge and trustworthy too! Ok - normally I go for cleanliness - but come on - this is about dirt! What about organization - from one greenhouse to the next - and trust me they have many - you will see a huge selection - so organization is by plants. Sharon took care of me today because grandma Barns wasn't there, but her plants were! I purchased some humming bird attracting vine for hanging baskets - talk about a deal and was even told how to make them come back next year! I also bought an angel leaf fern - pretty cool looking fern and she taught me how to take care of it and clean it out! Of course my basil isn't ready yet, but I will be back. Sharon also told me about the lemon basil and how good it is with fish and that the cinnamon basil is excellent for pork - now where else can you go and get cooking tips from the person selling you plants? Their new greenhouse is also "State of the Art" amazing and there isn't one greenhouse that is off limits to you - simply amazing! Don't worry about parking - plenty of that. And if your hands are full - don't worry - they will help bring it to your vehicle - the nicest and friendliest people in the business! This surely gets my 5 star and I encourage everyone to check them out!
