Very nice and spacious location, and I was surprised at a lot of the brands they do carry. This is probably the 2nd time at a DG since living in CT for the last 11 years, and I was thinking it's more like a dollar store. Some items are, like the Halloween section, but a lot of things are competitively priced. My only wish is that they were open 2 months earlier, as a lot of the stores (which isn't much) are priced higher than in the neighboring towns I live by. Name brands galore, and friendly staff. One cashier to 20 customers in line while other staff in store wandering about . An entire end cap display of peppermints with 50+ bags grouped into 50% off Christmas candy and when price doesn't reflect the advertised price I refused to purchase I was treated poorly as if I should know they are regular items but they weren't even in the regular candy section when questioned. Cashier flings my bags as if it's my fault their store is a mess . I wanted to stress it's false advertising and perhaps you should move the cardboard box of them into the Candy section and not have them there and I was told oh well . Do better for your customers. I was told it was the 1st day if a 3 day flooring project. When I asked why is there a residue on the items, that is what I was told. Then another associate snotty attitude said "that's why we're dusting." I asked why weren't the products covered with cloths to protect them and received no answer. They had the front door propped open when I arrived. This is a dangerous, unhealthy situation and it's not just the dust you see it's the particles floating around in the Ir that you don't see.
