I went to the store by Mirror Lake last Tuesday. The young African American cashier was wonderful…read more (Kicking myself for not getting her name.) She greeted every customer that came in. She helped customers locate what they were looking for and still managed to run the cash register quickly and efficiently. She had a beautiful, friendly, kind smile on her face the entire time. The store seemed crowded and a little messy, but it was just a couple if weeks after Christmas so maybe they are still working on it. That alone will not stop me from going there.

Temptations cat, $3.15 instead of $3 on shelf for 4 weeks, Glad plug in $10 instead of $5 on shelf and when I went back she refunded $5 but said she could not do the $3.15 x 6 that the register would only let her do so much, that is BS I lost over .90 + tax and .50 on the large bag. I had coupon for $1.00 off fabreeze if u buy 2 I bought 2 wrapped together and she would not give it to me saying they had to b individual I said it does not state that just says 2 she said we can't do it. I went to another one and she never questioned it. I am so hurt at DG. This DG is on 101/Rockmart Road Villa Rica. U also can no longer use your phone in there to call home or add extra DC, u have to leave your buggy and go outside. We go almost everyday or did prior, no longer. VR has began to suck on most businesses to tell the truth.

The employees at this location are usually pretty friendly, and I am happy to see that they've…read moreupdated the store, however, this location is ALWAYS opening late! There have been many days when I've stopped by here in the mornings to pick up a few things, and even at 8:00am (their posted opening time) there isn't even an employee present at the location yet, and the inside is dark and locked. There have also been more than a few times when someone is here, yet they still fail to open anywhere close to on-time. I am actually sitting here in the parking lot right now with at least 4 other cars, and there is NO ONE, not a single employee here to open the location! When I arrived, the only "someone" in the parking lot was a squirrel, and as far as I could tell, he didn't have a key. People keep driving up, getting out of their cars, and walking up to a locked door and a dark store, despite the fact that they should have opened about 20 minutes ago. Several people have driven off, which of course translates to lost revenue for DG...inexcusable! I also hate the fact that some of the employees tend to smoke in front right outside of the building, and they are obviously discarding their cigarettes right there, although the parking lot is always filthy anyway. This location has a lot of potential, but someone in a position of authority definitely needs to step in and get things in proper, professional order... **Update: At approximately 8:25 an employee finally strolled nonchalantly into the store, and after standing outside around the front door, we were finally allowed inside maybe 5 minutes later. Only about half of the store lights were turned on, so the store was very dim. They then had problems with the cash register, and the lady working the register actually took a call on her cell phone (possibly from a store manager) while checking out a customer, which slowed her down even more. The customer was polite, but she too was obviously frustrated. The counter was so cluttered with unstocked merchandise that there was just barely any place to put your items, and even after waiting 30 minutes just to get into the store, and despite the fact that I smiled and greeted the employee with a friendly: "Good morning, how are you today?" (to which she barely muttered "Fine") once I'd paid for my items, and received my receipt, I didn't even receive so much as a "Thank You" or a "Have a nice day"...nothing. Good Customer Service is absolutely essential when dealing with the public, and this store is just flat-out unprofessional! After today, I am done with this location...
