The cashier was super friendly to them, having a full on conversation. When it was my turn the cashier didn't even acknowledge me nor say hello. She didn't give me my total just slammed my bag on the counter. I paid and she didn't say have a nice day or anything. I watched her with the white lady behind me and she treated her the same way. Merchandise in boxes ,always blocking the isles. I have to go down another isle just so I can get to the other side of the original isle I wanted to go down. But this store is not that (anymore). Burlington still has some nice outerwear, but they're a whole lot more than coats! I should get this out of the way early -- Burlington offers a five-star shopping experience unless you need a dressing room, in which case, a solid four point five stars. They have dressing rooms, but they aren't always open. I think it began during Covid, and my guess is, it's been hard to find good help and when you've got to work with a less-than-full staff, that's kind of the obvious place to cut. Anyway, I don't really know when the dressing rooms are open and when they're not, but they were not open a couple of days ago when I took my mom in to do a little shopping. Fortunately for us, there's no reason to test out their return policy. Burlington really is one of my favorite stops for clothing. They've got a really nice selection of clothes for ladies, men, juniors, and kids. I love their brands and the prices are super-affordable. There have been a few times I found clothes on the hanger that should have been in a bin to send back to the manufacturer - a rip here or a stain there. But most of the time, the clothes are exactly as they should be when you're buying NEW clothes. One of my favorite aisles at Burlington is the home decor section. The picture frames, shelf sitters, candles, wooden signs -- I just can't resist myself! They make great gifts or seasonal decor when I'm looking to change things out. Burlington has a rewards program or some kind of Burlington super-fan thing. I honestly don't know what it is, but if you give them your phone number every time you go, they find you and say, "yeah - you're in the program!" and then they ring you up and you pay them and then they thank you and send you on your way. I have no idea what else is happening, honestly. I don't know if I'm earning points or just giving away personal information. But they have a program like that if you're looking for one. Customer service is great. The cashiers are always friendly and nice to chit-chat with while you're checking out. Oh - and here's a tip -- don't try to take your cart out to your car. So far the store is pretty immaculately clean, save for the reshops that idiots so rudely leave by the registers, but it also isn't fully stocked yet. The belts of registers aren't automatic yet so be prepared to help push your items along. Our cashier was timid, slowly counting our change and thrusting it into my hand, but with a little time and a bit of effort, this conveniently located Dollar Tree may be the best thing to happen to this area in a long time.
