It sits back off the road a ways and when there are leaves on the tree it makes it hard to see the front of the store and the sign. Once you pull in here, the parking lot is fairly small and in need of some type of repair. Pulling into a parking spot is a bit treacherous as most people don't seem to look or care if they are going to back out in front of or into a vehicle. These too things are the only downside to this Dollar Tree. Merchandise inside is more than enough for a store that offers great items for just a dollar. They are always my go to place when I need something on the fly. It never hurts to be able to run in here and walk out with an armload of bags for under $15.

The parking lot is also very tiny and uneven. However, there are such extremely nice people working here. One trip I had to use the restroom and the manager was nice enough to take me back through the warehouse to use the customer/employee restroom. Another time I was there I got to talking to two of the young cashiers on staff and they directed me where the best place was to buy spray adhesive. Very friendly and such a pleasure. My family raves about so i was excited to try it out. They do have some good deals.. Its like a giant Big Lots. Dont get me wrong, there were plenty of rugs.. like a whole different room for them, but they were hard to look through. Some rugs are on a wooden pallet.. (imagine 30+ rugs in the 5x7 section) You couldnt browse through them bc they were heavy to lift and look at. Also the price is UNDER the rug.. but you have to guess which side its on. They also have larger, more luxury rugs hanging. I wish this was the case for all of them. i bet a beautiful rug was at the very bottom of those pallets, but its was impossible to lift 29 other rugs just to look at it. I was really hoping this would be the place i bought an area rug, but browsing them just wasnt fun. My boyfriend was cranky and hates home shopping, so i called it a day after attempting to look for 20 minutes and getting no where.

My husband and I were here most recently on Black Friday 2025, and although the mall had mostly vacant storefronts, many people were walking around. The mall was clean and maintained, and a Christmas train was set up for children. My husband made an analogy and said that the mall reminded him of an old person who was dying but was in a nursing home that took great care of them (!). I needed to use the women's restroom, and an employee kindly told me its location. The restroom was located past the food court, which contained only some restaurants. The restroom looked old but was fairly clean and worked. During this shopping trip, I shopped in the Boscov's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Shoe Dept. Encore. I most liked the Boscov's.

The Beaver Valley Mall is magnificent but dead. It's a large mall that is smaller than you'd expect…read moreon the inside, with a beautiful fountain at center court. The interior is very pretty for a mall, and there are cute gathering areas in front of two anchor stores. Many storefronts in the interior of the mall are vacant, and finding a reason to come shop is difficult. The mall is owned by Namdar Realty Group, a known slum lord. Unfortunately, the anchors contribute to the issues. The former Macy's is used by U-Haul for self-storage with part being offered for redevelopment. Rural King does not open into the mall. JCPenney is in the process of closing, which is sad as it's a nicer store for this chain. Boscov's will be the only anchor with access from in the mall once JCPenney's closes. Dick's remains as a junior anchor. The food court is still decent and includes Chick-Fil-A and China Max, along with others. It's a shame a mall this nice looking is in this condition, with empty storefronts everywhere. The future of this mall is uncertain at best.

The stores is well lit and clean, however it does not have the homey feel that most furniture stores have with their displays. We stopped in the other day looking at mattresses. They had a pretty good variety. We were helped by Mark. He was great to talk to and very informative. They do a comfort test to find what type of mattress will work best for you. With only 4 beds in the test area, it does not take long. Mark spent his time with us, never made us feel rushed or like we needed to buy. He definitely gave the impression that finding our comfort in a mattress was more important to him than selling us a mattress and making money. Many sales people at other places felt like just getting that commission was their priority. We did not end up finding our ideal mattress there, but would seek out Mark for future furniture prices in a heart beat! They also have free delivery within a certain range.

They always have a ton of holiday decor, and lots of pet stuff. They also have children's clothing and toys. I tried on lots of shoes yesterday but did not buy any shoes. But they had so much great fall clothing that I probably tried on 10 things and came away buying 4 items. The discounts are great, and the sales are even better. I don't have their credit card, but if you do have the credit card you do rack up points I think for discounts. Because the shopping center is in Beaver County it is much less crowded than Cranberry and it's always easy to find a parking spot. It's in between Target and Ross. And there is also a Kohl's and a shoe store in the plaza.
