Car freshener, Twix snickerdoodle and cotton candy. As I walk through the isles I see these toy plastic keychains. All toys priced at $1.75. I pick three. I use the scanner to check out a price on a different item and then I priced the toy keychain and to my surprise was saying $3. I go to check out and I politely ask, this is showing $3 instead of $1.75. And I show him the photo of all toys at $1.75. He calls to his manager and says ( "she" ops "he" has a question) first red flag. Then I say to the manager it's not a question per se, all the toys are $1.75 and these are showing $3 she goes (okay yeah someone moved them there $3, a customer must've put them there and looked at me to insinuate I put them there. I told her this has never happened to me before I'm fine with getting just the one, not 3 of them can you price fix it just for the one. She looks at me and says ( yeah, no. I'd be losing money, come back tomorrow when a different manager is here and try "this with him". Pure insanity. I left all my items at the register ( $20 worth of items. ) And I let her know this is Liverpool no shocker racism is live and kicking here and left in utter disgust.

They carry some pretty cool puppets for the people under 5 feet in your life ;) They have quite a selection of toys and some pretty great party items...plates, boas,balloons (they will fill with helium.You can arrange prepayment and pick up.) The same gentleman is the regular face and is always helpful and open to suggestion when ordering items in the store. They also carry Toronto Maple Leafs serviette, paper plate and pretty much that is just awesome .

They have lots of limited edition foods, like on my last visit I saw Banana Creme Frosted Flakes, and special flavoured Oreos. It can be a bit messy in there, but hey it's a bargain outlet, so don't expect a shopping experience like you're going to a Williams-Sonoma, lol. The strip mall that this Ollie's is in is a bit rundown. This location is a bit more disorganized than others that I've been to in New York (I haven't been to any Ollie's in any other state though). It took a minute to figure out the layout, but when I did I was off to the races. I went through and picked up a bunch of snacks, some items were well organized together with like items. Other areas were a little lacking in variety. The staff here were amazing. I made it to the check out line and the employee was some warm and welcoming. She was so pleasant and if you were having a bad day, you definitely will have that switched around.

I noticed the frozen food cases had many more SKU's then I would expect to find at the Dollar tree, some is higher price points look reasonable. There is a medium-sized cheese plant -- Great Lakes Cheese -- just down the street. They used to have a factory store where you could buy direct, but now Freeway Grocery sells it instead. The price is a steal. The 4X Cheddar (the sharpest version they make) goes under the name "Adams Reserve" when sold elsewhere. I've seen little chunks of it for sale in gourmet stores in Boston and NYC for more money than what at Freeway gets you a big brick of no-nonsense, wrapped-in-plastic-wrap, tangy, crumbly deliciousness. Milder versions (3X, 2X, 1X, medium, mild) available too. If you like good cheese, fresh curds, and/or local products, this spot is a great, easy stop off the highway.
