Great place for a weekend trip with the whole family. Came here with my whole family and we had a blast. They have a maze for the kids, a train ride and botanical garden for the adults, and the crown jewel is the dole whip station. Train - make sure you sit in the back so the loud engine noise doesnt bother you. We got the huge dole whip that they serve in half a pineapple. We shared it among 5 people and it was delicious.

We got there early enough to skip the lines, which get much longer past 11am. We decided to do the train ride + maze package. We had to wait about an hour for the train. The ride itself was relatively fun and relaxing (My partner fell asleep on it lol). We then went to do the maze, and got like 5 out of 8 items in the maze - make sure you download the app or get the maze record card at the entrance. I personally really enjoyed the maze but I thought the train ride might not have been worth the wait. We also wanted to get Dole whip but the line was way too long. We also saw red pineapples!

If you don't stop by the dole plantation when in Honolulu, I don't know what you're doing. We came here for the infamous dole whip! There are other activities such as the pineapple express, pineapple maze, etc. We stopped by the gift shop and it was a lot bigger than I expected. We spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what to get for souvenirs. There was a line for dole whip. We ordered the dole whip with pineapple chunks & chocolate dipped dole whip. It was sweet and not too sour. The pineapple chunks were very refreshing. The dole whip was very smoooth.

What a cool place! A must visit if you are on vacation in the Honolulu area. They have a huge shop with tons of souvenirs and goodies. There is a huge maze that my family enjoyed trying to get lost in. It was broken up in to several segments so no worries if you think your little ones can't do the whole thing. There is also a train ride that gives you a tour of the property and a beautiful garden.

Definitely a place to stop into, so many cute things in the gift shop. Exciting to get a dole whip from the real deal! The tour is fun and educational. Definitely a place to visit when in HI

Dole plan tation is a wonderful sidestep to visit into the historical pineapple business! While I wasn't at the planation for long, it was well worth the visit! The first spot you'll enter is the shopping center which consist of a merchandise and edible side. The merchandise is of wide variety and has something for everybody. The edible side has a plethora of snack and treats to include dried fruit, candy and, of course, pineapple! The Dole Whip is just around the corner and this is where all the magic happens! I had a Dole Whip Boat which consisted of a waffle boat cone with crushed pineapple, dole whip, a cherry on top and one additional topping (I chose strawberry drizzle). Dole whip is absolutely amazing! The taste and consistency is something that I have yet to compare to anything! It really brings a new spin onto pineapple that you never really thought of before. Add the crushed farm fresh pineapple and drizzle to have a decadent sweet snack! There are a few other activities that families can partake in such as a maze and train ride, however I elected not to participate due to time constraints. If you have time to visit, please do and make sure you try the Dole Whip!

Interactive place and shopping center. The maze was closed for some reason. The pineapple ice cream is overrated.

We had the best time! The pineappleice cream is so delicious. I am so glad we took the train. It was so interesting to learn the history about Dole. The gift shop has a lot of fun gifts and snacks too. I just wish we did the maze.

We stopped here while exploring the north shore. The parts of the plantation that we could see was beautiful, but unfortunately there were fees to do many thIngs including a garden tour, train ride, and the pineapple maze. The highlight for me was the delicious Dole Whipped. This is an enchanting soft serve pineapple sorbet/ice cream. I ordered mine with pineapple on it and my friend opted for the float which was pineapple juice poured over the Dole Whip. It was refreshing and delicious, but a huge sugar rush. The cafe served a variety of foods, but we only opted for dessert. The gift shop was filled with other tasty treats and souvenirs and there were ample public restrooms, so a nice quick stop while on the north shore.

Unfortunately arrived half hour to maybe 40 min before closing so I can't rate the train ride / tours but we were able to walk around small portion of the place at no cost everything else besides shop you'll need a ticket. Murky Pond in back has abundance of fish that's cool to look at for a moment when you realize how many fish there are. Sign :Do Not feed the fish lol . From what I see there are many rules (signs) in here pay attention! lol. There was one last train ride but we arrived nick of time & didn't think it was worth it. The last train that arrived after tour was full to capacity! Grounds very clean, well kept I wish more flowers / pineapples were in bloom ( Sept. Visit) would have been nice to see. Able to enter the shop itself for pineapple soft serve treat on a cone and I must say It was tart and artificially very sweet. Taste was ok but we thought would taste more authentically pineapple. Shop has many pineapple flavored items to buy even pepper sauce. Overall would visit again for the full experience.

Pineapple Split and Sipper Cup Float with many of the free tasters of authentic from the source pineapple was a life changing experience. Take a tour through the Pineapple Garden Maze and don't forget to get a Dole Whip also, it's so much great stuff to choose from! Everything was rich and flavorful to a new level. The location was family friendly and inviting with a nice candy section for all types of pineapple flavored treats to go! Worth a visit if you're ever in the area near Dole Plantation!

Highly recommend visiting Kualoa Ranch and doing this popular tour! The land is ginormous and offer sooo many different tours. I'll def come back and book one of the tour activities for horseback riding and zip-lining. The UTV tour is two hours long and you can either self-drive the UTV or book one with the tour guide. Each UTV has enough room for up to 6 people I believe. We paid $162.79 per person. They make you arrive 45 min beforehand but we showed up 25 mins beforehand and it was fine. You check in with the folks behind the counter and then they'll lead you to the area with the numbered table benches. They still made us wait for the group before us to leave before we even could line up by those tables. Once you check in, they give you a neck scarf (which you can keep) and try on helmets and goggles. You can bring your own goggles or wear sunglasses too. They make you sign waivers and also check your IDs if you're driving. Each time slot has up to 10 groups and you drive in a line, stopping at about 3-4 stops. Our tour guides were awesome and very knowledgeable in telling us facts about the different film stops. I'm a big movie/ TV show fan so it was really cool seeing some of these places in person! They had infamous sets from Jurassic World, Jumanji, King Kong, etc. They gave us plenty of time to check out some of the stops and take pictures. They're also really nice and offered to take multiple pics for us, including one with a big dinosaur in the background (they carry a dinosaur toy for these pics lol). Make sure you book in advance because they fill up the time slots quick! You will get dirty from the UTV drive so I recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting messy. Also bring a mask or wear their neck scarf so you don't breathe in the dust. At the beginning of the tour, they take your picture and then sell printed copy as a souvenir at the end for $20. They have a food court, gift shop, and bathrooms inside. There's also plenty of parking which is a plus!

Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. They have snacks, water, and ginger ale. We saw two turtles within a couple arms lengths at the surface (you can't touch them but gosh they were so close!). We also saw about seven turtles chilling on the bottom. Tons of reef fish swimming so close to us too. The crew makes sure to point out turtles so you don't miss them. It was my first time in open water and the crew was welcoming from the start. They separate the groups so if you can't swim or are not great at swimming, you can stay back and hold onto a blue mat in the water where they teach you and help you feel comfortable in open water first. The crew is so funny, they normalized not being able to swim well or motion sickness so you don't feel embarrassed. So from the gate to the entire experience, it can be overwhelming, it's a lot to do, it's a ton of fun. I rated 4/5 for the snorkeling because it's open ocean vs doing this inside a "bay" You first get a cruise down the waters and learn about the city and the captain t Story tells you a lot of history and the buildings while we are cruising and then we turn around to the play and snorkeling areas! Wow! But knowing my kids they want to also PLAY! Thais is the boat, you have a water trampoline, a water floating board that you legit can lay on or stand on and play balance and or just lay, and a huge slide!!!!! Wow! And drink and snacks are included! We didn't even get a chance to grab a beer! lol (for additional $ on your own) Just look at the view and the photos. So this entire experience is just 5/5 We booked through TripAdvisor. This is 100% recommend, since this is also at open ocean, it's easier if you can swim and not afraid of the waters. They do offer life jackets and self blown floatation vests, your choice. Must do!!!!! See you next time!
