I've been grabbing cakes from here for a while and they're always a hit! The cakes are nice and moist without being too sweet, though the buttercream can be a bit much for some. I've also tried most of the pastries and they're just as good as the cakes. My favorite is the coffee éclair, it's light, airy and sweet. Honestly, I like it more than the classic éclair. The coffee flavor just takes it up a notch. The icing on top can be a little sweet on its own, but it balances out well with the whole éclair. I always grab one or two when I'm in the area. The lemon raspberry cake is another favorite. It's light with just a hint of tartness, and the poppy seeds in the cake are a nice touch. The zeppoles are perfectly light, not greasy, and just sweet enough. I've also had the vanilla and caramel cake, and it's super soft and moist. The buttercream is on the sweeter side, but it goes really well with the cake. Black forest cake is lightly sweetened and I feel like I can eat a huge slice without it being overwhelming. Overall, this bakery is awesome, with a ton of variety. They've got baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and more. Definitely worth checking out! read more

First and foremost, cheapest cafe I've been to in Montreal so far! My friend and I ordered an espresso, a water bottle and two servings of pizza (each serving had two pieces, so four pieces total). We paid 12$. 12$. Yes. The espresso was great and the pizza was delicious!! They have quite a few tables available, but it gets very busy at lunch time and all tables are taken. They offer a wide selection of pastries, breads, cakes and other sweets. The only con is that there's no WiFi. read more

I have been craving them for the past 2 weeks and I finally found a good place close to home! You see guys, I had high expectations for this cannoli adventure. The creamy filling was rich and slightly sweet. The crust was okay and I would have liked it to be fresher. But, it was quite crunchy. I have definitely had better cannolis! I would rate it 7.5/10. The coffee was just okay and I am looking forward to trying other pastries. The place is super tiny and the seatings are not that comfortable. Really good baguette that's baked fresh every morning! I wish I could say the same about their espresso and cappuccino, as well as their croissants, but I can't. All three were very lackluster. The coffees just weren't up to par and the croissant was not flaky and buttery like it's supposed to be. I didn't get to go to the patisserie myself, but my husband went to get a cake for his sister's birthday and he brought home a mini cannoli to try. It was delicious and filled with fresh creamy filling. My husband thought it was the best cannoli he's ever had. He's not Italian, but has had a fair share of cannolis. He said the cannoli was made to order so it was really fresh. The cake was just made too. First of all the shells were overdone and had a faint burnt taste, and were excessively oily, second they really skimped on the cream filling, only the edges were filled and there was nothing in the middle, AND BOY WAS THE TASTE AWFUL! I'm even wondering if it was fresh, because I felt really sick after and my friend ended up vomittingn all night! I first walked in this shop because of a tasting session for wedding cake. Got referred by my coworker. The attendant served a variety of flavoured sponge cakes including vanilla, chocolate, velvet, and lemon. Very delicious and with a fluffy texture, not too sweet. In the shop, besides daily bakery and pastries, they also serve snacks, sandwiches, daily soup, and a section of frozen meals, quiches, pies, cold cuts and homemade spaghetti sauce.
