Ravioli di Carne

Well 2 weeks in a row, it's that good! Our waiters were great especially Tony! He's been there since opening day! Very nice and attentive! We shared a beet salad that was delicious. My wife had the special lobster ravioli that she loved! I had the angel hair pasta with seafood that had salmon/shrimp/calamari and mussels. It was delicious and very filling to the point I couldn't finish it! Their pasta plates are big so you might have to consider splitting a plate. We split the salad and paid extra 2 bucks to do. We also started with bread and vinegar and oil which was very savory. They had some Italian music playing that gave it a nice Italian ambiance! If u like great Italian food...come here!

Dolci Cafe Italiano brings "Little Italy" to East County with and pizza dough made in-house daily, fresh ingredients, and great options for lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends! We dined during brunch and got a few breakfast items and a few lunch items to get a taste of everything. Our favorites were the Salmon Benedict, of course the pizza made in their wood-fired oven, and a pasta dishes that they let me modify (linguine Alfredo with ‍ and ) ! Everything was so flavorful and the pizza crust was perfectly crunchy yet soft with the perfect amount of toppings. Kid friendly! Lunch in El Cajon, California... My cousins and I were looking for something different to eat and decided on Italian cuisine. I found Dolci Cafe Italiano on my Yelp App! Parking was free and easy in the shared lot. We didn't have a reservation and walked right in. There was no air-conditioning, but we were hungry. We thought that inside would be cooler than outdoor dining... I'm not sure. It was a bit warm in both areas... Service was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the lasagna. It was cheesy, hot, meaty, and good! It was like comfort food to me. I would have enjoyed it more if there was air-conditioning... haha!

If your in the Rancho San Diego area this is a great place to try! This is my second time here I've been here for lunch and it was great. This time we went for dinner and it was just as good! Our waitress was super friendly and personable. Everyone was just pleasant there! Great atmosphere I like sitting in the patio area everything is still enclosed for any type of weather!

Great food and friendly staff! Our waiter was Tony and he did an amazing job helping us out. The owner even came out to have a quick chat which was a nice surprise. The pistachio gelato was really good too and comes imported from Italy. Shout out to Tony for the amazing service.

Street…read moreparking was easily available, and the restaurant offers both indoor and patio seating with plenty of space for larger parties. We were a party of eight, including three little ones, and our waitress, Ms. Cindy, was AMAZING! Her service is truly the reason this restaurant is getting a 5-star review from us. Ms. Cindy consistently checked on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. What impressed me most was how attentive she was around the children. When bringing out hot dishes, she was very mindful about where she placed them and made sure they were safely out of the children's reach. That level of attention to detail was phenomenal! If you're looking for amazing table service, ask to be seated in Ms. Cindy's section, and be sure to leave her a generous tip because she is worth every penny! Now, on to the food: Gnocchi Tuscan: Good flavor. Sicilian Lobster Mac & Cheese: Delish! Double Deluxe Pizza: Delicious and absolutely true to its name. DELUXE and packed with goodness! Garlic Cheese Bread: Delish, and the marinara sauce was SO GOOD! Calamari: Well cooked, although there were no tentacles. Teriyaki Chicken Wings: Good-sized wings, but the breading made them look HUGE. They were a little over-sauced for my liking. Shrimp Lobster Linguini: I was told it was amazing! Rigatoni Fra Diavola with added shrimp: AMAZING flavor! Margherita Pizza: I'm normally not a fan of pizza without meat, but this one completely surprised me. AMAZING flavor! Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience, but Ms. Cindy's exceptional service really made our visit memorable. THANK YOU, MS. CINDY, for taking such great care of our family and giving us an AMAZING dining experience!

Service was also good, we were seated quickly & given complimentary bread soon after we sat down. Menu had a lot of options! We went with the lobster Mac & cheese and the rigatoni. Lobster Mac & cheese was gooood! I will say I love garlic but it was a little too garlicy so if you're not a fan of garlic, I would choose a different option. My fiancé ordered the rigatoni and he couldn't stop raving about the sauce! The pasta itself was slightly undercooked but the sauce makes up for it :) portions were good! We ate till we were full and still ended up taking home leftovers. Overall, super friendly staff & a great experience. They also offer first responder discounts :) It's a yes from us!

This establishment makes great for a romantic date or family friendly dinning experience. Tonight I decided to treat myself after a long hard day at work. I came on the spaghetti night special day which came with salad and garlic bread. I ordered the spaghetti and asked the waitress for no pork meat sauce as I'm allergic to it. She verified with another waitress since she was new and came back to give me the info that the meatball was pork-less so I ordered meatballs in addition to sub out the meat sauce over the pasta. I got my food and began to eat. All was well until I started to get a little rumble in my stomach but I paid it no mind and continued to eat. I ask the waitress for a little more marinara for the spaghetti and when she brought it out I asked, "why the meatball ball was covered in a different sauce than the marinara that was brought to the table?" I asked her was the meatball covered in the pork meat sauce and she went to ask the other waitress who comes over and says politely yes and apologetically took accountability that the training waitress that had my table didn't know about what's in the food and that she should have looked over it before serving since both were aware when I ordered of my food allergies. She requested to comp my meal and told me that she was very sorry. I told her then it would explain why my stomach was rumbling. I left the meat balls & took the spaghetti and bread home and cut the dinning experience short as I needed to get home and knew it would be a long night.... I left immediately but before getting home I had to stop twice for stomach pain and needing to go to the bathroom. If you ever had extreme food poisoning and going from both ways then you can imagine the severity. It was an awful experience and I can't say that I will come back. I think one should be able to dine and the service be attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions especially when you tell them ahead of time and go over the food items with them. Now I will say they remained professional the whole time and were super kind to comp the meal but the meal didn't stay down to be enjoyable.

We took full advantage of their lunch specials so we could sample a wide variety of dishes, including Di Leone's Special Pizza, gnocchi with pink sauce, a meatball and mushroom calzone, manicotti, garlic bread, minestrone soup, tortellini egg drop soup, and a house salad. Everything made for such a comforting, satisfying feast! The tortellini egg drop soup was a particularly unique and memorable surprise, and absolutely perfect for the rainy weather. Another standout was their house-made salad dressings. Both the Italian dressing and ranch dressing are prepared from scratch, and they're phenomenal! It's always wonderful when a restaurant puts that kind of care into even the simplest accompaniments. The restaurant has a charming, old-school Italian-American atmosphere that feels warm and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, share generous portions, and enjoy a leisurely meal with family or friends. We especially appreciated the variety and value of the lunch specials, which allowed us to explore so much of the menu in one visit. Di Leone's is a lovely option for classic Italian-American comfort food in East County, and we're looking forward to returning!
