Update as a response to the owner's comment that I am just now seeing. I have move passed this but want to provide an accurate overview of what happened and why I was upset. It had NOTHING to do with your turnaround time. I responded this on Facebook. Actually... I didn't expect you to be working at 2 am! I sent you a very nice direct message at 8:49 a.m. to alert you that I had responded just to bring attention to it, as emails can get passed over (like you said...you have several to go through ‍) There was a deadline and I wanted my questions answered prior to that deadline...rightfully so. You did mention that I could cancel if I wanted to and I stated that I did not. I've never mentioned anything about your response time, so I'm not sure what expectations you are referring to. What I didn't like was your tone. I do think that it is unprofessional that you can not explain your contract. It worked out for the best, I should have read the Yelp reviews first! read more

Terrible photographer and very arrogant. She literally produces images with random things in her shots like cords/hoses in the background and refuses to edit them out without charging clients. It's absurd. Moreno, she actually promotes these images in FB ads and on her page as good work with the green cords still in the shots. It's rather hilarious. This is a blatant lack of attention to detail and laziness. Any good photographer would've caught that both when shooting and/or editing and corrected without being asked. Not this one. DO NOT USE THIS PHOTGRAPHER OR THIS COMPANY, as she is now expanding by adding at least one other subpar photog. Danielle won't accept phone calls, lies about her pricing, no-shows for Christmas minis and sends a stand-in, and CONTRACTUALLY NEEDS 6 WEEKS TO RETURN CHRISTMAS MINIS! (Any decent photographer can return minis in less than 2 weeks, just to add perspective.) I completely understand her need to send a stand-in as she had medical issues that rendered her unable to work that particular day. However, her contract THAT SHE REQUIRES YOU TO SIGN AFTER THE INITAL PAYMENT AND REFUSES TO REFUND IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO HER TERMS only protects her and completely screws over her client. And she never mentions the 2nd payment up front, not in her emails or in her advertising, so you become bound to pay this hidden cost, which doubles the price of the minis purchased. Working with her was a total nightmare, full of stress and tears. Her photos finally arrived after 4 weeks and also AFTER I HAD ORDERED MY CHRISTMAS CARD from Shutterfly. I didn't even book Christmas Minis this year, like I do every year, because of my PTSD from working with this terrible photographer. Read the other reviews, there is a reason only brides like her. She treats her other clients, particularly mini session clients, like pieces of doodoo. Oh, and it is not that awesome to try to have a picture taken with 2 adults, a 4 year old, and a 3 year old while the guy behind the photographer constantly says "3 minutes", "2 minutes", "1 minute left", "okay, times up." No wonder the pictures were terrible, I mean, who can work like that? Who can do GOOD WORK like that?! The stand in took terrible photographs, not that she even tried to make them good or help in getting the children to actually smile or laugh. My 3 year old is giving the camera an "eat poop and die look" in every shot. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. read more

This was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have had in a very long time. I WAS SCAMMED OUT OF 100.00 and received NO SERVICES AT ALL!!! I paid a deposit to have my Christmas pictures taken in Woodstock or Marietta. Danielle McAdams (Dolce Amore Photographer) then changed the location to somewhere not in Marietta or in Woodstock and refused to refund the 100.00 to me. Because this was a deposit and I did not actually purchase any items PayPal and my bank have both had issues getting a refund from Danielle McAdams since she refuses. Our family has been working with Danielle for 5 years now and we are always so happy with the beautiful quality of her photos. She has taken holiday photos (complete with a live reindeer!), pumpkin patch photos, and various gorgeous outdoor shots of our family over the years that have made beautiful gifts, holiday cards, and keepsakes in our home. She is wonderful to work with and especially great with kids, making them feel comfortable and at ease to get the best shots possible. Terrible customer service! We booked a March session back in Jan. The session got canceled due to weather. I have been trying to reschedule for another one with no confirmation on her end. I have sent her three separate email inquiries with no response. Now she is saying it's because she is on break after I tried to dispute the charge. We chose this photographer based on the beautiful background. Her rates are high, but I believe that you get what you pay for so we were ok with the pricing, however, she is not worth what she is charging. We initially thought the session was a 15 minute session but then realized it was a 5 minute session. I was concerned since we have over 10 people (including small children and infants) in our family, but thought she is the professional and knows what's she's doing. We followed her strict guidelines and were there early for our session and ready to go. It was so rushed, and our pictures look like we all ran up and got our picture snapped! She did not move anyone to balance us out (according to height etc) we looked like a jumbled mess. Had she moved just one or two people to different spots the picture should have been 100% better. One person was actually nearly eclipsed! I can't imagine this looked good to her, but she is supposed to be the "professional" and we depended on her doing a good job. We couldn't see how it looked and again depended on her to do a good job, but we were "on the clock" and it was obvious that she wanted to get us in and out...and it totally felt that way, we were rushed in and out. As a professional, she should have known 5 minutes was too aggressive to properly photograph a family with over 10 people, but she obviously didn't care. These were our Christmas card pictures and a portrait I hoped to hang over my mantle and they are terrible! I would not use this photographer ever and would never recommend her to anyone. There are so many other great photographers out there with beautiful backgrounds/sets that actually care about creating a beautiful memory for your family. I've actually just found one in the same area and we are going there to have our family portrait redone. Again, a beautiful family portrait is a memory to treasure and priceless, so I don't mind paying for that, it's worth every penny to me. But what I got from this photographer was not worth what we paid...not even half! Based on our experience and how our pictures came out, this photographer is arrogant and egotistical and only cares about charging a lot of money every five minutes. read more

Danielle isn't wrong by changing the location.. She did change our location at least once but she did that because she kept finding better ones.. Not to mention her amazing prices. We have used Dolce Amore Photography for several sessions over the last two years. Overall we have been happy with the moments she has captured for our family. The detail in her Santa photos really are so sweet. The truck used gives a unique look to Christmas photos. The Santa she hires look legit and she has used him the last two years and hopefully she will continue to use him as our child gets older so she will have the same Santa. My only negative is not the photographer but I wish Santa's glasses were not sunglasses. I think they are regular glasses that turn to sunglasses when outside. Not a horrible negative but sunglasses on Santa aren't my preference. I plan on using Dolce Amore in the future and have recommended to friends as well. read more

Seriously the worst photography business. Honestly don't know who she thinks she is. Treats customers like crap. It's all about squeezing every penny out of everyone possible. You have to deposit and don't even know what day or weekend the shoot will be on. Have to just be on standby. Then you don't find out your 3-5 minute session (yes you read that right) until the day before! Doesn't she realize ppl have lives and kids to work around. Terrible customer service and awful photographer! We paid for our services at the begining of the year and We got the pictures 9 days ago ( middle of August ). The only family picture that we got my eyes were close so We lost our money and 8 months waiting for the pictures. I tried to talk to her about and her answers were mean. I don't know what the previous poster went through but my experience with Danielle was an excellent one. She was absolutely professional and a joy to work with. Her price was fair and reasonable and my elopement photos were absolutely beautiful. She provided us with a good number of pictures for the price we paid. Our pictures were creatively done and she really captured the spirit of the moment which was exactly what I wanted for my elopement. What I liked most about Danielle was the fact that she was always so available. No matter what time I emailed her, she always responded right away. She was extremely pleasant to work with and a very sweet person. My husband and I both loved the work she did for us and we would recommend her to anyone looking for quality photography at a great price. read more
