Warning: This review is very one-sided...or one-third-ed??? Well in a sense that I can really only vouch for 1 of 3 fitness classes that this studio offers. I've only been to their Zumba classes but they do also offer classes in Krav Maga (Israeli self-defense) and Tae kwon do (Korean Karate). This was the first Zumba class I've ever taken and I really enjoyed it! If you like dancing this is a good way to work up a sweat while busting out to some upbeat music! And if you can't dance...then at least you'll learn some latin moves? There are two female instructors for the Zumba classes and both are very positive and energetic! The crowd has varied from night to night; sometimes you'll get a crowd of younger woman and other times there's an older group that comes. The steps aren't too hard to follow. The instructors are pretty good with showing you how to do each step and you repeat moves a lot within each song, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Each class is an hour long and by the end you've gotten yourself a great workout! Especially if they used the Bhangra (Indian upbeat dance) music. Wow my arms were toned after that! I only wished they had a ballet mirror so I could see how uncoordinated I really look, but overall i love coming here to workout! P.S. They offer children AND adult Tae kwon do classes!! I came to this business after receiving a groupon certificate for a discounted month of training. So when I came and told them a little about me and my years of experience this female said everyone can train one time for free so I said that's fine. So I had to leave the state for a few months for work and when I return home I called this Dojo to redeem my discount 1 month but the manager or owner said just because I trained for 1 day which was free I could not use my coupon. I told him that has to be the worst and dumbest business practicing discussion I have ever heard or experience because he or his business would make far more money in the long run compared to saying no to a coupon only to try and make a few more dollars. I recommend no one use the business because they will eventually try and rip you off. read more

I got a voucher for 10 classes here and decided to try it out. I combined Yoga and Zumba but it looks like they've got martial arts as well. It is a small place but the people are wonderful! The classes had a good amount of people without being too crowded. It is easy to find and there was not a super-long application or whatever to get inside. They just had me write down my name, phone number, and email! I love coming to work out here. Zumba is energetic and fun and I know I'm burning calories! Yoga is good because she shows you the modified versions of poses (if you're a beginner) and shows you variations on poses to make them more difficult (if you're more advanced). bring your own mat to yoga! read more

I just found out this idiot is still taking out money from my acct after my child quit 8 months ago. I am seeking an attorney and im going to the police with it. I signed a contract that was very vague and the guy talked the whole time and distracted me as i signed. He knows what he is doing! He will tell you if you sign it just says you promise to stick with it...not that you will get the shaft if you quit. They are rude, including a lady that yells at the kids. Never have been to a karate place that had that. My child wasnt learning and there technique sucks. If you want more respond and ill talk with you. There were only four kids in the class and two were the mean ladies kids. My son was scared to go back and i will make sure this is known everywhere in Edmond! read more

My son recently had his 6th birthday party at Dojo 3. I was a little nervous about it because when I booked the party I didn't get any paperwork or anything. Just simply a date and a "So, is 2:00 ok?" On my way out the door. I called the day before the party just to make sure that the party was confirmed for the following day and was assured that everything was good to go. When we got there on Saturday I was so pleased with everything. The staff was super friendly and adamant about taking care of everything from set up to taking every last thing out to the car after the party. They definitely had a system down for birthday parties. The kids were busy from start to finish and the staff made sure everyone had a great time. My kids really did think it was "the best birthday ever!". I would definitely recommend Dojo 3 for any "Ninja" birthday party. read more

I have never in my life had a more horrible experience at a child's birthday party. I wasn't even the parent of the birthday child and I was so upset. Within the 1st 3 minutes the instructor set the tone of intolerance. I could not believe my eyes when she decided to take the birthday child no less and sent him to the wall with his nose against it for time out! He was so heart broken that all of the parents couldn't decide whether to yell at her or to take our kids and run. He wasn't even being bad! 3 children cried and were put in time out for not "listening" to her rules. They are at a birthday party for crying out loud! She gave them play swords but wouldn't really let them play, she than took the kids swords made them lay down and told them they weren't being a listener so they were now dead and couldn't play. For the finale of this horrible experience she gave them all rubber ninja stars to take home and told them that if they ever took them to school that they only weigh 1/5 of her weight and that she knows lots of training and would take them out. She actually used the term Kill you. My 6 year old was so scared of her that she left her star cause she didn't want the mean lady to come after her. I am publicly saying DO NOT BOOK A PARTY WITH THIS PLACE!! I think this is just someone who is major control freak. Also did I mention how filthy the place was? The office was atrocious and I sat on the floor and realized it has been MANY weeks since a broom or vacuum was used. I can't even imagine that mat YUCK!!!!!! read more
