I called around 8:30 a.m. this morning to establish care for my two French Bulldogs and was told that they were accepting new patients but it would be a month out. The receptionist began collecting my information to create patient charts, discussed scheduling appointments for June, and was in the process of preparing the required $40 per pet appointment hold fee when the call was disconnected. When I called back later, a different receptionist informed me that the clinic was not accepting new patients and that I would not be able to establish care there. When I explained that another staff member had literally begun the intake process and was preparing to collect payment for appointments, I was simply told, "I don't know, but we're not taking new patients." The complete lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected a much more professional and organized experience. While I cannot speak to the quality of the veterinary care itself, the customer service and handling of front-office communication left a very poor first impression.

We needed somewhere reliable and appropriate for our dogs. This place is awesome. Like many others said, we came and took a tour of the facility and didn't even have to make an appointment. Everyone of the staff was amazing and Kiwi seemed to like it (she is cranky at times). We will be using these folks for a long time to come. They were very friendly and understanding about my grumpy old cat. We give him anti anxiety/ sedation meds before his appointment but he can still scratch and bite which she told us is what happened a bit. I knew I couldn't keep Marina home with my other two dogs because I hadn't socialized them yet. Breanna was recommended to me by the Rescue that I got Marina from. Although I was nervous about leaving my new girl with a stranger, Breanna wasn't a stranger after my first meeting with her. Her philosophy's on dog care and training were exactly what we needed. I also felt comfortable asking her questions and suggestions on some skin issues that Marina was having. Knowing that she had been a Registered Vet Tech made me feel comfortable taking her advice. Marina stayed with Breanna during the day while I was at work for about 2 months. She gained social skills while interacting with her family and other dogs. She actually bonded with her cat. Marina's best friend at home is my rescue cat. I have to thank Breanna for giving my girl the start she needed in life when I couldn't be there.

I wanted to let people know that they did follow up with me with a very heart felt apology and did want to let us know that they were correcting the issue that happened. I also wanted to let you know that over the last 20 years they have always been nothing but professional toward us and very caring when we had to do this in the past. We had to take our little girl (4 year old cat) in to see the doc. She wasn't eating or drinking…read moreand was lethargic. Everyone was fantastic! We thought she had hurt a hind leg and was just in pain. Doctors did X-rays and blood work. X-rays were good but the blood work showed an infection along with a fever. Docs put her on fluids for her dehydration and gave her IV antibiotics. After a couple of days in the hospital her fever was down and her blood work looked closer to normal, but she still wouldn't eat. We went out on Saturday night and spent about an hour with her trying to calm her and get her to eat. When we got there she had a petrified look and was scared to death. We were able to talk to her and pet her but still couldn't get her to eat. Doc said she might not eat there because she was so scared. We left her one more night for the fluids and antibiotic IV and a recheck of her blood work on Sunday morning. Temp was down and blood work was close to normal so we brought her home. After checking out the backyard and house she and our other cats all relaxed. She's eating and drinking like crazy now and just demanding attention. Everyone at VCA was great! From the receptionists to the technicians and doctors! Thank you for the wonderful care our little girl got! You all are fantastic!!
