Although I was nervous about leaving my new girl with a stranger, Breanna wasn't a stranger after my first meeting with her. Her philosophy's on dog care and training were exactly what we needed. I also felt comfortable asking her questions and suggestions on some skin issues that Marina was having. Knowing that she had been a Registered Vet Tech made me feel comfortable taking her advice. Marina stayed with Breanna during the day while I was at work for about 2 months. She gained social skills while interacting with her family and other dogs. She actually bonded with her cat. My family and I have been taking him to PetCo since he was a puppy and it's helped him get used to grooming instead of being scared of it. We're also thankful for his training classes. His behavior at home is great and he follows commands well. I even taught him how to shake hands/paws with me! The recommendations that his trainer makes for his health and wellbeing (types of food, food bowls, dog park recommendations, etc.) are so helpful too. We absolutely loved his first groom and were so happy with the service, which is exactly why we trusted them enough to bring him back. This time, Rev came home with multiple ticks on him. We were not aware of any ticks prior to dropping him off, and considering he received a full groom, it is extremely concerning and upsetting that he was returned to us in this condition. Whether the ticks were present beforehand or not, we would expect a professional groomer to notice multiple ticks during a full grooming service and notify us immediately. On top of that, his haircut looks rushed and nowhere near the quality of his first groom. The overall experience has left us incredibly disappointed and questioning the level of care and attention Rev received during his appointment. We trusted Comfort Cuts with our dog, and to have him returned to us with ticks and a rushed looking haircut is simply unacceptable. After such a great first experience, we truly expected much better.

I hadn't left a review at the time because of how upsetting my experience was. I'll keep it short, my dog's nipple was cut and bleeding as if no guard was used on the clippers. I understand haircuts won't always be perfect, but her sanitary area was shaved too short and the overall cut was uneven. When I picked her up, I didn't see she was bleeding until I saw blood on her bed. After I notified the owner, she suggested that my dog did it to herself (even though she can't reach that nipple and she was wearing a cone when she got home) and then suggested that it looked like a hickey (extremely bizarre comment to make). I know my dog well and how well she does when she visits groomers. Every groomer before and after her visit at Going Mutts has always said she is well behaved and have no issues while cutting her hair. Anyway, Going Mutts ended up refunding me for the grooming which I appreciated.
