My rating is based on my multiple interactions and visits to the salon. I first called based on a recommendation of a groomer by a friend. I called and asked to be scheduled with the specific person, and was told they are bookEd but this other groomer can help you. The phone was given to a young lady who was in training/trained at this groomer/school. After discussing my dogs and what was needed, I scheduled to bring my puppy in for their puppy package. It included four visits, one a week to help get your puppy exposed to the groomer and the different tools and experiences. I asked several times what the package included and what services would happen each time and was not able to get a clear explanation. I took my pup in each time, and got back a happy, clean, fluffy dog. On one visit I ran into the owner and chatted with her asking for a better explanation of the services in the puppy package and she obliged. I made the suggestion that they provide that to prospective customers so it is better understood. Several months later I brought both my dogs in for a grooming. I was lucky enough to drop them off when the owner was there and chatted with her about the services, and what to expect. She was able to give clear expectations and timing on when they would be done. When I went to pick them up, one of the students helped me check out, not the groomer I scheduled with. They both were returned to me happy, fluffy, and clean. they both looked nice. Overall I like this groomer. I think the owner is very nice, knowledgeable, and provides good customer service and seems to genuinely care. I would happily schedule to have my dogs groomed by the owner anytime. The groomer that I was given to does nice work, but could expand her communication and customer service skills. The prices seem to fluctuate based on their visual opinion at the time of grooming. My 3.5 rating of okay plus in lieu of a 5 star is based upon: - Asking for a particular groomer and being pushed off on a student. - The lack of clear/concise communication. - The luke warm customer service from the groomer. - the fluctuating pricing. This location does a good grooming, and the puppy package is a great idea! Over all I am glad that we did the puppy package and my dogs were happy, fluffy, and clean!

Their first location was walking distance from our house and they continued to give reasonable and cost-effective care. Our first dog lasted 14 years in their care and when his tumors caused him to fail. The emergency clinic was compassionate and caring. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff it handles our dogs perfectly. The staff and the dogs are always calm and will be behaved. They offer reasonable options for care based on the dog's age health, etc. they aren't pushy. In total, we've had four dogs and a good relationship with Noah's North.

Our pup was older (15 years old) and one day began showing stiffness in his front leg. At first, it…read moreappeared mild -- possibly a sprain or minor injury -- but it progressed into a noticeable limp. When there was no improvement, we scheduled a veterinary appointment as soon as possible. We went to Noah's trusting their professional opinion. The vet recommended X-rays and keeping him at the clinic for several hours. We reluctantly agreed. When I returned later that afternoon to pick him up, his condition was dramatically worse. He was barely able to walk and was dragging his leg on the floor. The staff minimized this by saying he was "just sore" and needed rest. I was shocked and devastated. His leg condition after the visit was significantly worse than when we dropped him off. From that point forward, he struggled to stand to eat or drink and rapidly declined. At night, he would wake up crying in pain while trying to move in his sleep. Given his age and existing cancer diagnosis, our family made the heartbreaking decision to let him pass peacefully. We chose to take him to a completely different veterinary clinic to do so. I will never return to this clinic and do not recommend trusting them with your pet. Our experience resulted in far more suffering than relief during our dog's final days. Edit: Correction -- he was dropped off early in the morning and picked up later in the afternoon (not overnight). This is the same location where X-rays were performed (address shown in attached paperwork). Names will remain anonymous. This incident occurred last year, and our dog has since passed. Reopening the situation would not change the outcome or bring closure. I am sharing this based on our experience at the time of care for awareness purposes.

The foster mother brought the dog, whose goofy name was "B2" (?) to the facility, and he was in his crate and ready to greet us when we arrived. We fell in love with him immediately. My wife and I, along with the foster mom and "B2", walked over to the fenced area, where we got to know the dog and learn his story. We also found out that, because we've had schnauzers in the past, and know the breed well, our application was approved. This told us that they don't give an animal to just anyone; they actually care that the right people are matched with the right animal. After about 45 minutes, we signed the paperwork, paid the adoption fee, and we were on our way. The adoption fee for "B2", whose name is now Oscar, included neutering, a microchip and membership, all shots and vaccines, heartworm and other tests, a collar and leash, and a free visit to a VCA Animal Hospital. The dog was in great shape, groomed, clean, and free of any fleas or ticks. And the people were as nice as could be, too. I read the review from "Kimberly", who slammed them. I think she needs to understand that there are so many animals out there that need rescuing, and for a small facility like this it can get overwhelming; she should cut them some slack. I can assure you, Kimberly, these people are not driving around in Roll-Royces paid for by donations. This is not a luxury pet hotel, and she needs to stop pretending it should be. Bottom line...we have no complaints. We love our Oscar Boy!
