Their prices on boards and gear seem fair too. Also, they are also honest with beginners. I chatted with them about it before because I have seen people out on big days with rental boards where honestly it is unsafe for them to be out, but those people rented from a different shop in town. I really appreciate that they won't rent to beginners when conditions are unsafe for them to be out (both for them and for the rest of us).

We brought a life jacket for our dog and was able to include him in the kayak for no extra cost! We are beginner kayakers so it took us a while to get used to paddling and directing the direction of the kayak. The kayaking route was decent and safe. But don't you visit the town without stepping in here. Sure they sell new clothes, swim gear, sunglasses, sandals, surfboards, etc... surf gear. But I'm focused on the rental gear. Daily or weekly rentals of wetsuits $18 daily, surfboards $35-50, SUPs $50, and boogie boards $15. The wetsuits come in various adult and children sizes. The shop itself is bright, and clean. Even though the building is not new, it has a newish coastal beach vibe. Very well maintained. The merchandise is nicely staged and displayed. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The shop is within walking distance from the beach.

Called these guys when I was on my way over to Half Moon Bay on a Tuesday afternoon. They said they…read morehad plenty of bikes available for rent and to come on down! I was in and out with a rental bike and guidance on which direction to head in for a nice ride within minutes of arriving. Super quick and easy experience. Paid $25 plus tax for about 3 hours of ride time (all that was left in the day). Got in a great 16.75 mile ride and turned the bike in just as easily as I rented it. Note that all available rental bikes are single speed and you reverse the pedals to brake (not handle bar brakes). I was reluctant at first but the trail is easy enough and a single speed bike was you need! Oh and they'll let ya borrow a helmet if you forget to bring yours ;)
