I threw a 14-pound neon orb into the gutter, only for it to emerge three lanes over as a fully grown mallard duck. The duck proceeded to pick up a 7-10 split using only its beak and a profound sense of existential dread. Atmosphere & Amenities * The Lighting: Occasionally shifts into a spectrum only visible to migratory birds and certain types of moss. * The Nachos: They scream if you don't dip them fast enough. 10/10 for crunch, 2/10 for the emotional labor. * The Scoreboard: It gave me 300 points for "Excellent Posture" and then subtracted 50 because it didn't like my choice of adjectives. The table we were seated at was sticky and still had water rings from previous guests. After waiting about 10 minutes with no attention, I had to go to the bar myself to request a cloth to wipe the table and to obtain menus. While the restaurant did not appear particularly busy, it was clearly understaffed. Our party of five ordered sandwiches, one appetizer, and one beer (the rest of us had water). The total came to $134. The bill was presented on a handheld device, and when I asked for an itemized receipt, I was told one was not available. This only added to the frustration of an already poor experience. I left feeling embarrassed for the Lake area and regretful that I had brought guests there. I will absolutely not return.

We drove down from Kansas City to see Alison Krauss and Robert Plant and enjoyed the short 90 minute show. They mostly played songs that they had recorded together on their bluegrass albums along with a couple of Led Zeppelin tunes and one Robert Plant song called "In the Mood". They did a real nice version of "When the Levee Breaks" that was just released as a single. If there is another concert, we are interested in hearing we will not hesitate to return as this was a delightful experience. Thank you to all of the staff and crew for being lovely.

It is impossible to not step on people to get to up and down the aisle. Sitting in the 100° sun is always fun, but maybe they could provide a few fans to blow down on the crowd. I know it is usually expensive to buy drinks at these places but, 22$ for a beer and a water seems excessive. Especially when I can't go back to my car for a water and get back in. My strife is with the website that charges you a $2 convenience fee PER TICKET yet it's not really convenient since you're still forced to wait in the ticket line to scan your QR code. That is ridiculous to me but the staff assured me that was "the head office" and they would change if they could. The staff is friendly and helpful and served me with a smile both times I went while on vacation. They have great deals on Tuesday's and my grandma seems pleased with their loyalty card.
