Food is actually decent, staff is isn't friendly at all and it's clear they don't wanna be here. Games are decent, and you need to know that there are 2 game areas. On upstairs and one down stairs. Prize lines are also really long. Expect to wait there for 20+ minutes. Go karts are a cluster and the line is crazy slow and inefficient. Many times they send 4 karts out at once. Expect to wait in line for an hour plus. It's rough. Overall it can be roughy but lines are long and lines are inefficient. read more

When we arrived we entered through what seemed to be the front door on a lower level near the prize counter and the farris wheel. It wasn't clear where we needed to go to get started. I approached the prize counter where a nice young man helped me get the lay of the land and directed us upstairs to get tokens or wristbands. He said everything takes tokens or you could purchase a wristband for the rides to ride multiple times. We headed upstairs where the kids maze was and were told that our youngest wouldn't be able to do the maze because he had a cast on his arm. We did end up spending a few hours playing arcade games but many games were broken or had run out of tickets. We actually had to go get an attendant twice because machines didn't have tickets to give us when we had done well and were earned. When we were finished with our tokens we went down to the prize counter to exchange our tickets. The nice young man who we had first talked to started helping us. While he was in the middle of helping us, another worker come up to him, told him the manager said he needed to bring two boxes of tickets upstairs and that he is not allowed to have an ear bud in while working. Then they both walked away to the storage room without another word to us. There was a third worker who was leaning up against the counter eating a laffy taffy l, once she realized that we were still standing there she apologized and come to help us, then the guy who came down to give the orders from the manager came back and said "oh, I was going to help them". I pointed out that it would have been good to acknowledge that intent instead of not saying anything to us and walking away. Over all, I mean it's an arcade and what was usable was good. But the setup with like games downstairs & upstairs was a bit odd. And the machines have different ticket payouts on the different levels? Idk, just seemed weird. Unfortunately it took an inordinate amount of tix to win anything of note at the prize counter, which was backed up to oblivion. The pizza was oddly good, like even ole Stool Presidente would give this place a high 6. Outside of that it was slim pickings. Would I recommend this place? The redhead woman working the indoor place was completely unprofessional; rude; waving scissors in our face. never explained all parents needed a sticker for access to come & go. She yelled, screamed & acted like a fool in front of everyone. SHe failed to explain all the rules. Was inspecting a ball from the ball pit while 3 kids exited without adults and yelled at us for taking our own kids to ride the train. We went yesterday and it was just alright. A lot of games were out if order or didn't work properly. Sometimes it ate your money. Not that many prizes to choose from. Kids had to settle for mostly candy. They need more items worth like 100-300 tickets. The roller coaster it just goes in a circle so that's more for the really young kids. We've been looking for an indoor place to take our kids, ages 6, 4, and 1-1/2. There is hardly anything at all for them to do around here! Then we stumbled upon this place, Miner Mike's. It's like little kid heaven!! There's an arcade for the littles, and arcade for big kids and adults. There are three rides. There is "the maze" which is this HUGE series of tunnels, ball pits, slides, and the like. It's all really quite something. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the place. I recommend getting the season pass if you plan on going more than once. That will give you unlimited rides and maze passes. read more

We ask why they were on a lower speed they said one was only ten and no one was. it was fun, but half the games didn't work, or they took your tokens. my friend's go cart stopped working twice in the same round. And, it takes 45 minutes to stand in line to count your ticket. not to mention the prizes are terrible. i think the place can afford a ticket counter that just gives you an ACCURATE count on how many tickets you have instead of weighing them and making a guess. a ticket machine would give you a card and then you could take the card to the workers and make the picking out prizes a faster experience. read more

We love Miner Mikes and frequent it every time we are at the lake. My 11yo particularly loves it. It seems like they are under construction right now but that didn't stop us from enjoying our afternoon and spending close to 2 hours playing games and having one of their famous root beer floats. The arcade games are fine with a wide range for all ages of kids. The go carts are another story. They are fine once you get on them, but the line will take forever, and the workers will take some people out of line and let love them ahead for slower races. We had a group of 4, 1 double and 2 singles and were passed over 3 times!! When we asked why other groups were being placed in front of us he told us, "I assumed you had more than 4 so I was moving others in front of you." Great place to take the family. Ages 3-12 would be best for Miner Mike's. They have an arcade attached that would appeal to an older crowd. There are essentially three rides for smaller kids; a small train coaster, bumper cars, and a small Ferris wheel. The indoor maze is a giant McDonald's play land with the fastest slides ever. There's a pretty sweet air gun arena in the maze that allows for shooting rambunctious kids with small nerf balls. The highlight is definitely the maze. The whole place is a nice indoor activity for kids and was actually reasonably priced. read more

Use to be one of the highlights of my son's trip. However, we were there yesterday (6/2/15) and they have let the place go so bad, it very disappointing. The 4 player air hockey table always keeps the pucks if someone scores. So then you spend half the time of the game waiting for an employee to come over and get the puck out for you. Several of the games on "Busters" side are out of order or when you play em half the buttons you need to play don't work. The maze is still in good shape and all the rides were working. The roller coaster is still pretty cool. They really need to invest money in updated games that work. read more

We visited years ago & had a much better experience. This time I'd say around 40-50% of the machines were broken and we lost a LOT of tokens in broken machines. They also haven't upgraded to card readers and are still using the "weigh the tickets" method for prizes. Great way to shortchange patrons. This is honestly the worst place I have ever been. Not only are all the employees rude, they all look like they're suffering from severe depression. The day I went there was an employee named mikayla with blonde hair who obviously ignored me when I had asked her questions and when I tried to order food she looked at me dead in the face and turned around. No only is this unacceptable way treat customers, it's rude to just be like that to anyone. I dont care if you're having a bad day, if I'm paying for something you better give it to me without an attitude. I was nothing but nice to her. Also all the arcade games are broken and the maze is disgustingly dusty. You can't get actual food at buster without a staff member having an attitude so don't even think about going to cooks tent because you know they'll make you wait 30 minutes before you even see a person at the counter.
