Idk what this is, but it's not a Sonoran Hot Dog. The hot dog should be wrapped in bacon and grilled, the bun should be a bolito type bread. The onions both grilled and fresh, mayo, jalapeño sauce, tomatoes. What I got was a hot dog on a regular bun, smothered in too much cheese sauce, mayo, ketchup, and who knows what other sauces, no noticeable onions, a few tomatoes and a ton of beans. Got the viral Cali burrito, was pretty excited about it since I had seen a couple videos raving about it. Aftertax it comes to $19.32 which is crazy that it doesn't even include salas, I mean one could argue that it doesn't need it but its lack of flavor says otherwise. Hot Cheetos were stale and yet that was the only part of the burrito that had flavor. Unfortunately it is noticeable when you cheap out on ingredients like the French fries and the tortilla, if I wasn't physically looking at the rice and beans in the burrito I wouldn't be able to tell you that they were in there. Overall I did end up loosing a part of my appetite after I walked into the establishment and looked into the kitchen to see not either of the women in there had hairnets and quiet the contrary one of them had a poor half up half down hairstyle with a claw clip. In a hot dog mood and we were in the area - so why not? Food ordered and we waited. Before I go into this know that my music likes run from classical to rap/hip-hop so genre isn't the issue. They had hip-hop playing over their sound system. Not a problem until I hear something that didn't sound right. I pay attention and hear very explicit lyrics. Wow - how inappropriate! Think bringing your 3 year old echo machine. It'll be the explicit words that get added to their vocabulary. Music with explicit lyrics doesn't belong in a family friendly environment. Is this a 1 time lapse in judgement. I'd like to think so - that's why they got 2 stars. Besides this issue our lunch was still an excellent meal. read more

I was excited to eat here, considering my usual birria taco place (EL Tijuas Tacos on Osuna) was closed. I will never make this mistake again. To start the food is way over priced for what you get. My quesabirria tacos were $16.99. Then, once the tacos came out I knew at first glance it was going to be a stomach ache. There was mostly fat for meat and they didn't have that freshly made warmth to them. The salsa that it comes with are in a mini container the size of a quarter. When I asked for more salsa the girl stated that she'd have to charge me $1 extra for each extra salsa. Mind you not even enough salsa for the whole taco order. The consomé that it comes with is in a small container and the broth had a grease cap. When dipping the tacos the flavor of the consomé was hard to even taste. Not that it would've even had any to begin with. Needless to say I should've walked out and not even tried to eat here at first glance. I'm so sick to my stomach that I wanted to ask for a refund. read more

Underwhelmed I went to Dogos VIP to get a dog, figuring that a place named Dogos VIP would have really great hot dogs. Sadly, I was grossly underwhelmed especially for the price. I ordered a Philly dog. It was a hot dog in a white (stale) bun with some grilled onions and peppers and some cheap liquidy cheese sauce. That's it! The ingredients were cheap and the dog was $9.50! I was so disappointed and still hungry so I drove just down the road to Popeye's and got a classic chicken sandwich. It was well-prepared, lots of juicy chicken, fresh and only $5.50!! So this location was a different business before but I need give everyone a chance. First time here and when you walk in the music is loud, very loud and not in stereo just off the TV. Service is not that great here. Girl puts your order on the counter and you have to be watching to make sure you pick it up. Let's see if the food can out do the service and make me return. Yeah service has to get a lot better! Asada fries are good, so that is a plus. Enjoyed the senora dog and the Philly dog, had to say a little to much tomato but they are good. Sorry to say the food did not out weigh the bad service. I think the price is okay, I understand how prices have changed with COVID. The hot dogs here start as Sonoran style, and this means they all are wrapped in bacon. And hey, bacon makes everything better! After that, you have a variety of options. A classic dog and you can pick from the classic toppings (relish, onions, mustard, ketchup, mayo). Or you can get a specialty dog. I went with the Sonoran, and it was very good. The hot dog is well cooked and the bacon gives a nice crunch. The chile beans are very tasty, and the jalapeño mayo has a nice bite. Not too hot, but you know it's there. The guys next to me ordered the birria tacos and they were very happy. The shells get grilled in the beef consume and they come out a brilliant orange. Really nice to look at. I ordered the birria dog, a philly dog, a plain dog, a plain dog with shredded cheese and carne asada fries. All dogs come bacon wrapped and my kids loved them. They actually commented on how good the dogs were and how the toasted buns took it to another level. The birria dog was delicious, even though it had the right amount of toppings, the thing was still pretty big and overflowing. The birria was perfectly stewed and had good flavor. The philly dog was also good, all ingredients cooked perfectly to where the veggies still had that crunch. These dogs will get a little messy but totally worth it. The carne asada fries were massive. Really good flavors and just a ton of food. The fries in this dish are fresh cut and not frozen, which means that you should eat this right away because they will get soggy sooner. I let my kid pick where to eat and since the first time we ate here she always wants Dogos. I don't blame her, the hotdogs are delicious here. This time I tried the Hawaiian dog and the Philly cheesesteak dog. The kids got Buffalo and chipotle fries and of course I had to try a little bit. I'm not a big fan of the Buffalo flavor but the chipotle peach fries were great! Service is good and the food comes out pretty fast.
