    Birria Tacos

Saw this spot pop up on a social page and went out of the way to visit. Service was awesome and suggested the birria tacos which were also awesome! Comes with 4 but I ate 2 forgetting to take a picture. Hip little hot dog spot, but HIGHLY recommend coming to try it out. Started to get busy as I was leaving, can totally see why.

More than just hot dogs-- they have amazing birria! The birria ramen is a clever and delicious option! The dogs are Nathan's all beef. This little hidden gem is totally worth stopping in at! Service is excellent and staff is very friendly.

    Birria Quesa Taco Order

I was excited to eat here, considering my usual birria taco place (EL Tijuas Tacos on Osuna) was closed. I will never make this mistake again. To start the food is way over priced for what you get. My quesabirria tacos were $16.99. Then, once the tacos came out I knew at first glance it was going to be a stomach ache. There was mostly fat for meat and they didn't have that freshly made warmth to them. The salsa that it comes with are in a mini container the size of a quarter. When I asked for more salsa the girl stated that she'd have to charge me $1 extra for each extra salsa. Mind you not even enough salsa for the whole taco order. The consomé that it comes with is in a small container and the broth had a grease cap. When dipping the tacos the flavor of the consomé was hard to even taste. Not that it would've even had any to begin with. Needless to say I should've walked out and not even tried to eat here at first glance. I'm so sick to my stomach that I wanted to ask for a refund.

In a hot dog mood and we were in the area - so why not? Food ordered and we waited. Before I go into this know that my music likes run from classical to rap/hip-hop so genre isn't the issue. They had hip-hop playing over their sound system. Not a problem until I hear something that didn't sound right. I pay attention and hear very explicit lyrics. Wow - how inappropriate! Think bringing your 3 year old echo machine. It'll be the explicit words that get added to their vocabulary. Music with explicit lyrics doesn't belong in a family friendly environment. Is this a 1 time lapse in judgement. I'd like to think so - that's why they got 2 stars. Besides this issue our lunch was still an excellent meal.

Place was pretty good . I had the Birria dog and it was delicious. The service was fast and the food was hot. My only issue was a few tables were very wobbly and almost dangerously so. I will definitely try this place again tho

    Dogos VIP Philly dog :(

Underwhelmed I went to Dogos VIP to get a dog, figuring that a place named Dogos VIP would have really great hot dogs. Sadly, I was grossly underwhelmed especially for the price. I ordered a Philly dog. It was a hot dog in a white (stale) bun with some grilled onions and peppers and some cheap liquidy cheese sauce. That's it! The ingredients were cheap and the dog was $9.50! I was so disappointed and still hungry so I drove just down the road to Popeye's and got a classic chicken sandwich. It was well-prepared, lots of juicy chicken, fresh and only $5.50!! (I'm not trying to write an ad for Popeye's. I'm only trying to demonstrate the lack of value at Dogos.)

Super yummy birria tacos. The carne asada fries are worth a mention as well. I would highly recommend the birria tacos con queso. Service was quick. No bells and whistles, just straight forward, good food. We will be back.

So this location was a different business before but I need give everyone a chance. First time here and when you walk in the music is loud, very loud and not in stereo just off the TV. Service is not that great here. Girl puts your order on the counter and you have to be watching to make sure you pick it up. Let's see if the food can out do the service and make me return. Yeah service has to get a lot better! Asada fries are good, so that is a plus. Enjoyed the senora dog and the Philly dog, had to say a little to much tomato but they are good. Sorry to say the food did not out weigh the bad service. I think the price is okay, I understand how prices have changed with COVID. I did notice that the condiments are generic, not an issue, I assume will change as the business becomes more established?

I've been wanting to try this place since coming to Albuquerque and today was the day! Birria dog was flavorful and good. Fries were tasty. Jamaica agua fresca was a standout too, not too sweet but refreshing and good. I'm definitely interested in trying more from this place!

Doggos VIP is awesome! I experienced great customer service and awesome tacos. Great local spot, I highly recommend. I got some tacos for my wife for valintines day, awesome presentation!

Sonoran Dog - A hot dog in a bun is topped with beans, melted cheese, and green sauce. The hot dog is served on aluminum foil on a black tray. In the background, there is a glass of dark soda and a wooden table. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, possibly a restaurant or fast-food place.

I have been watching this place for a few weeks, waiting to feel like a hot dog. Today was the day, and I will be back. The hot dogs here start as Sonoran style, and this means they all are wrapped in bacon. And hey, bacon makes everything better! After that, you have a variety of options. A classic dog and you can pick from the classic toppings (relish, onions, mustard, ketchup, mayo). Or you can get a specialty dog. I went with the Sonoran, and it was very good. The hot dog is well cooked and the bacon gives a nice crunch. The chile beans are very tasty, and the jalapeño mayo has a nice bite. Not too hot, but you know it's there. The guys next to me ordered the birria tacos and they were very happy. The shells get grilled in the beef consume and they come out a brilliant orange. Really nice to look at. I need to come back and try some of the other specials. It's a good dog.

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. Our son with Celiac was very satisfied, but also we all were. I would absolutely come back regardless of food restrictions. Please go!!

The property seems massive and it's really beautiful with all the cottonwood trees. They even raise cattle and chickens on property and source from their own greenhouse for their menu items. The ambience was just really cool and even though the winds were blowing like crazy, we were totally comfortable out in the patio section with the screens up. The food is authentic New Mexican cuisine. They brought out delicious tortilla chips for us to snack on while we decided on what to order. It really felt like there was no wrong choice to make. They were very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. There was great flavor in everything our group tried. I split the half order of chicken nachos and it was a hefty half order! I was so stuffed, but then, hot sopapillas appeared and I couldn't say no to those! Especially not since the tables had their own sourced honey. There is also a full tequila bar, but since we were traveling with kids, didn't get to take too much advantage of that as an option.
