I found Dogjax online when searching for a company that could help me with puppy training while I was visiting Jackson for the month. Thomas and his team were beyond amazing - so knowledgable, generous with their time, effort and true concern with my puppies well being and just a total pleasure from the very first phone call. I HIGHLY recommend Dogjax to anyone who has a pup that they care about!! read more

My hubby and I were traveling in our RV and needed to board our beagle/mix dog Rufus so we could partake in some winter activities. From the moment we took Rufus in the door he was welcomed and went immediately back and was in an area for him to first acclimate to the other dogs. When I picked him up a few days later, I was happy to see him playing and interacting with his new friends. Since picking up Rufus, he has been sleeping for the past 10 hours and he is a high energy dog. All the staff at DogJax were so friendly and truly love dogs! I received a report card at the end about Rufus, which was so adorable and a thank you e-mail. When I visit Jackson Hole again, I will definitely use DogJax and would highly recommend them to others! read more

DogJax is wonderful. From the get-go the staff was super responsive to my email & phone inquiries & reservation confirmation. What I loved about DogJax is that the overnight boarding comes with the doggy daycare/playtime which was very important to me. I knew our three pups would not stuck in a small kennel with the occasional walk. PROS: -responsive staff -clean and nice facility -lots of toys and things to climb on for pups including pools! -indoor/outdoor access for pups -price is reasonable -Staff asked a lot of questions regarding behavior, quirks, and took interest in pups -upon dropping our pups off, the staff were great at taking their time to make our pups feels comfortable and to get to know them before taking them into the "Introduction" area. Our dogs immediately felt comfortable and approached the staff (they are usually reserved with people at first). Not only did we have a great vacation climbing the Tetons but I know our pups did too. It's been 24 hours since we picked them up and they are still crashed out! read more

We came through town on our cross country road trip with our 15 year old dog. Of course, the hotels in the area have learned better and charge exorbitant fees if they find your dog unattended. Dog Jax was the perfect solution! We called several times with our questions and were always greeted with a cheery voice on the other end. We took our dog there shortly thereafter. We were nervous dropping an old dog off in a social play pen area with other unfamiliar dogs. We weren't sure how he would do. When we arrived to pick him up at the end of the day, we had an awesome note about how hi experience! They kept a close eye on him and put him with different temperament groups of dogs throughout the day. I would recommend Dog Jax to anyone that wants to play outdoors and make sure their dog has a great time as well! read more

We boarded our dog for the day about two weeks ago when we wanted to go on a rafting trip for a few hours. The staff was friendly, our dog seemed to like it, the areas were she stayed looked good. And, just to show what nice guys they are, the first visit is free. They knew we were just traveling through and may never be back that way, but insisted the first visit was always free. They told us verbally how our dog behaved that day and were just super nice. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I left my dog here for daycare for two days while hiking in Grand Teton. She happily went back the second day, which says a lot, because she's not always big on daycare. Very friendly staff. read more

DogJax is great - they are on top of their business and have made it very easy for out-of-towners who need a place to drop their dogs. we appreciated the straight forward form online and the responsiveness over e-mail. would definitely use them again. read more

Found DogJax while on vacation in Jackson with our big, fluffy Malamute and trying to figure out what to do with him while rafting. The staff at DogJax were great. They easily won my timid boy over and were very friendly and helpful in getting him all set up to spend the day with them. They have 3 big indoor/outdoor areas to group dogs by and it's open play all day long. There is a handler constantly policing the pens to make sure everyone is playing nice, and he seemed to genuinely enjoy playing with the dogs. My dog had a great time and did not want to leave at the end of the day. I gave 4 stars only because it was not as clean as I might have hoped. It wasn't bad as they do cleanup all day with the dogs, but the pools the dogs can play in didn't look that fresh and my boy smelled pretty bad after 6 hours of play. Otherwise it was great and I was glad to have somewhere to bring him where he could enjoy his day. read more

My husband and I were looking for a place we could leave our two dogs for the day. We needed to drop our dogs off early and they opened at 9am on Sundays. They made calls to see if anyone could come in early to accommodate us, and they did, on a Sunday! We couldn't believe it, and they were so nice about it! They also offer a report card so you can see how the dogs did. I loved this, because we have one older dog who has only been boarded once and a puppy who hasn't. It was great picking them up and knowing how they did during the day. We will be bring both dogs back before our vacation is over, and any other time we are back in town and need a place for the dogs to stay for the day! read more

I have boarded my dog with Dogjax for anywhere between a few hours to over a week. He does so well during open play and always comes home exhausted. Unlike other boarding facilities in the area, most of the time spent at Dogjax is NOT in a kennel. This is great for socialization and exercising your dog. And also unlike other local boarders, they charge a flat rate, not a la carte for every extra little thing. It's really nice to see my dog get excited when I pull up to Dogjax instead of nervous or apprehensive. Thank you Wendy, Carlie and the whole team. You guys rock Oly's world! read more

My fur baby Reggie is not the easiest pooch, but I have been taking him to Dogjax for years. They have a special way of dealing with him that makes me relax and know he is well taken care of while I'm out of town. They offer an invaluable service to Jackson! Reggie and I are so thankful!! read more

If you love your Dog NEVER leave your pet at this place! Upon walking in I heard yelling at the dogs in the back. My Dog was traumatized after her groom. I believe she was treated very mean. NEVER AGAIN! read more

DogJax is great. We took our 9 month old, energetic, lab mix puppy here while on vacation based on the recommendation of some friends of a friend. However, in the end, we chose this place over every other dog boarding business because, after calling every place in town, they sounded the most friendly, by far. To me, this is the most important trait of a dog sitting service. If I'm going to trust people with my beloved animal, the last thing I want is to put him in the hands of people who hate their job. Secondly, they have free roaming space for him to get lots of exercise. Third, and really the reason I am writing this review is that the woman working the night we went to pick up our dog, was willing to stay 40 minutes after closing so that we wouldn't have to board him another night! Further, boone was happy as a clam, and tired when we got him (and believe me, he's hard to tire). We offered a tip that was turned town, and on top of that, we were gifted a toy for Boone and a dog leash, all done with the friendliest of attitudes (her name, by the way, was Wendy, and she deserves a handsome raise IMO). It will probably be years before I return to Jackson so I won't be able to take Boone back here. I hope this review prevents some future traveller or resident from making the mistake of taking their dog any place else. In the mind of this reviewer, DogJax is king, and represents the pinnacle of customer (and dog) service. read more
