We've known Jeff and Karyn for 17 years, talked to them at shows, watched their dogs, heard about their careful breeding for health (and conformation), and listened to other dog people talk about Wagsmore's standards. Just last week at the SF Cow Palace dog show other dachshund exhibitors were praising Jeff and Karyn and their dogs. These are good breeders. They are alert for genetic problems and match up bloodlines to have healthy puppies. They know each of their offspring, can talk about the puppies' personalities, they play with them, and they care about the quality of potential homes. If you're looking for a miniature long hair dachshund (the best type to have!), Wagsmore is a good place to check out. They don't always have puppies, but when they have dogs available those puppies will have a great shot of being long-lived and happy.

I found the answer at Swanky Dog in this tiny waterfront village of Langley, WA. The owner hand makes all of the fleece harnesses here, all for the small to medium sized dog, so many patterns and colors to choose from, easy to put on and take off, yet very secure thick velcro attachment straps. If you are a big guy with little dogs, or anyone with little dogs you have to bring them here and get them ready for our winter weather in style.

She was compassionate and gentle with our elderly schnauzers even when one of them couldn't stand anymore. We were sad that she decided to move to Ellensburg from Bothell a couple of years ago but we decided that she was worth the hour and a half drive to see her. Dee transformed this ugly little dog into a beautiful one who gets compliments from everyone who meets her. We now have an additional rescue -- a feisty DoxiePoo, Ralph -- who does not like to be groomed. Dee handles him expertly and gets the job done and Ralph loves her. We started using Dee 5 years ago for our old Shepard/beagle rescue dog, Suzie. Suzie had arthritis so bad and we especially liked that Dee pulls her truck up and the dogs get cared for immediately without a long wait in a crate. Suzie had so much fur and shed like crazy. Dee was able to get her coat shiny and she hardly shed any more! Suzie also loved Dee.

I originally came to see them about my dog's leash reactivity and ended up attending their group obedience classes. The classes are structured in a way that is easy to follow and interactive. Despite it being a group class I felt like the trainers spent equal time with each person/dog always providing constructive feedback and encouragement. They have also provided me with recommendations for various training tools. They really do look at each dog uniquely as some dogs may need a more stern approach to obedience while others, like my dog, need some encouragement. I also highly recommend the agility program! It is a great way to check out the dog sport world! There are only a few people I would trust to watch my dog Betty and the Vonwaldberg team is one of them.
