Rebecca was incredibly easy to communicate with and helped me set everything up ahead of time. I felt incredibly taken care of from the first interaction through when they dropped us off at our doorstep and carried our wine to the door. Chris picked my friend and I up and we met Rebecca with the van which they decorated with a darling happy birthday sign, cold water, and an assortment of snacks. I was blown away by their hospitality. Before hitting the road they reviewed the wineries we planned to visit and then we were off. Rebecca drove safely and made conversation with us along the way. Chris was very knowledgeable about the vineyards and wines. Each time we arrived at a new vineyard Chris opened the car door and offered his hand as we stepped down from the van. He opened the vineyard door and helped us find seats at each winery, and then gave us space to enjoy our tasting. Between tastings he made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of water and snacks. He even brought our next tasting out to our seats so that we wouldn't need to get up- it was truly FULL service in every single way. I never once felt rushed by him or Rebecca, and their smiling faces and easy demeanor really created the perfect environment for my friend and I to cut loose and enjoy ourselves. After our tastings we said goodbye and Chris drove us back to our cabin where he personally carried the box of wine to our front door. He thanked us for spending the day with him and was on his way. I cannot recommend Chris and Rebecca enough! I will absolutely be booking with them again. I highly recommend them for any trip! Their prices are incredibly reasonable- and the service is top notch. I was blown away and cannot wait to book another trip with them!

Cindy picked us up at our cabin rental and dropped us back, she let us add on a winery because we still had time left, she seemed to be personal friends with each place we went which was to our favor. Ellijay is Cindy's home she knew the area intimately. You will not be disappointed using Searcy Bend Tours.

Cindy, our planner and driver, was quick to reply to questions in the weeks leading up to our tour weekend, and she gave great recommendations based on what I described about wanting entry-level education about wine and a cider house in between vineyards so we wouldn't be burned out on wine. She recommended Chateau Meichtry and helped me figure out how to sign up for the Chateau's tour of the vineyard, which was exactly the level of information we were looking for! We then went to Reece's Cider House and she even drove my wife across the street to the apple house store because it was hot out and my wife's shoes weren't quite sufficient to walk in tall grass. We ended the day at Engelheim, which was much quieter and more relaxed, which was exactly what we needed to enjoy a conversation quietly while preparing to return home to our kids! I can't recommend this service enough!

They had live music and almost every table was taken. We walked up to a young lady who was serving wine in a cart. We told her it was our first time. And she explained that if we wanted by the glass, we can buy from her or go inside and get a tasting or a bottle. We decided to get a tasting first to see what we would like. We were greeted by a woman who gave us some good recommendations. However once she poured the wine on the carafe, we were not given wine glasses to pour them in. As a first timer, we just thought we were supposed to drink from those. It was only until a very nice lady who works there walked by and asked us where our glasses were. We said we were not given any. She went inside and got us two wine glasses with a little bag of oyster crackers each. It was a lovely day! Can't wait to come with my friends and family.

They don't have their food license yet, so just a heads-up--no kitchen service for now. But they do offer prepackaged meats and cheeses you can buy, which is a nice touch if you want something to nibble on while you sip. We opted not to do order snacks. I ordered a wine flight served in cute little glass containers and genuinely enjoyed all of them. I also tried the fall sangria--festive and not overly sweet, with real apple slices and a cinnamon stick. Perfect for the season. I sat outside in the early afternoon and loved the peaceful vibe. Plenty of outdoor seating, and from the quick peek I got inside, the interior looks beautifully done. I'll definitely explore more next time. Overall, it's a charming stop if you're already in the area.
