We made a terrible mistake of boarding him with her for two days (Friday through Sunday) while we were out of town. We received a message from her that my baby was not doing well and his days were probably numbered. She inferred that we should just put him down. She even touched my shoulder when we picked him up and suggested that I let go. We took him to the vet and learned from x-rays that he had ingested pebbles; the same pebbles that were actually apparent in a photo she sent us showing that my baby could not walk. He passed one of the pebbles at the vet so we know it it was a pebble very similar to hers. We don't have those pebbles in our yard. She said my baby never got up once and walked after she carried him to the outside carpet. She stated emphatically that he was "only out there a minute." Then she stated that he must have eaten a mouthful while he was outside. If she laid him on the outside carpet and he could not walk how did he reach over and eat a mouth full of her pebbles in a minute? Something not true about this story and definitely not true about the services she offers. My baby is in severe pain trying to pass these pebbles through his colon in an effort to avoid surgery since he is older. The amount of agony he is in is gut-wrenching. I called her to give her the advice to remove these pebbles before this happens to someone else's baby. She thought I called to tell her my baby had died. I think she knows exactly what happened. I think it was pure neglect to leave him outside long enough that he ate rocks. In my opinion, Patti is not qualified to take care of anyone's animal. I don't want to give her any stars but I want this shared.
