I ordered the Birria tacos and Barbacoa tacos. My husband ordered the quesadilla and the mamalona burger. We wanted to try some foods we were familiar with so we can compare and also try new styles of foods we haven't had before. My husband said the mamalona burger tasted very fresh, hearty bite and that he couldn't put it down. I'm not a big burger person so I didn't have much opinion on it when I took a bite out of his food lol. Their barbacoa tacos were fresh and tasty and not dry. I love their birria tacos. It was the right amount of seasoning and flavor (not too salty). Their quesadilla was okay in my opinion. I was hoping for more cheese lol. The ambience is nice. Their tent kept everything inside warm and when we stepped inside, I was reminded of my time in Mexico. It was a nice "escape" for awhile as we ordered food and ate there. Will come back and update as often as we can!

The guy at the front charged us 2 quesadilla and $2 for the pastor tacos. We told him we only ordered 1 quesadilla and he bought us 2 we let him know. All he said was "oh yea i did" And he said you can just take it to go. My husband didn't want to be rude. So we said yes that's fine. We told him about him charging us more for the pastor tacos said that I needed to tell him it was from the special and said he can't do a refund because the tacos special come with 1 tortillas and less meat not 2 torillas. MIND YOU THERE WAS BARELY ANY MEAT ON THE TACOS.

Let's start with the good and end with the bad. First off,…read morethe horchata was really good definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The torta, though? Not going to lie... pretty mid. The fajita had good flavor, but there was nowhere near enough meat. There was so little fajita on it that I started wondering if the torta was on a diet. By the time I got back to work and actually sat down to eat it, the bread was already getting soggy from the mayo, which didn't help. For $11, I was expecting a considerably bigger torta and a decent amount of meat. At this size and portion, I'd say $5-$7 would be more reasonable. The rice was probably the weakest part of the meal. It was very plain and didn't have much flavor at all. I also tried the green and red sauces. Green sauce was actually pretty good. The red sauce, however, tasted like regular Pace Picante sauce... just watered down. I've seen some other reviews saying the tacos are pretty small, and after this experience, I'm definitely curious to see for myself. I'll be back for the tacos, so stay tuned for the Taco Update. Overall, not my favorite spot, but I wouldn't completely write it off. Maybe I'll swing by every few months or more and give it another shot. The tacos might redeem this place... we'll see.

We always go through the drive thru and while the line can be a bit long at times, we've never really had to wait very long. It's not my number one choice in taco places, but they're good tacos at a good price. When I go on a Carnival cruise, I like to get fish tacos from The Blue Iguana... if I'm not on a ship, this is the closest thing I've found. They do lose a star though because I also have a toddler to feed and tell me why I can get two tacos for the prize of ONE kids quesadilla? So I end up going to two different places for food. There's not much else to say. I don't know if they offer indoor seating, but I know people seem to enjoy sitting in the outdoor patio area. Thankfully it's covered which really helps in the Texas heat. As for me, I just use the drive thru and carry on with my daily tasks.
