We had our 2 Biewer Yorkies (Ginger & Iyada) groomed this last Saturday & I am appalled and angry…read more The groomer was not given permission to shave both dogs and all the hair off their long tails. My dogs had long beautiful hair & now look terrible. The shaving was so close to skin my dogs are showing their pink skin and they keep licking the sensitive areas. Now I will be taking them to the vet due to injury. Our breeds are known for long hair similar to a Yorkshire terrier. Please know these are our babies, they're our family. Where is the respect for customer. I'm so upset as we've taken our two pups before and it has always been requested to not shave them & call me to ask permission. They said it was on record. (Or that's what we were told it's on record for both dogs as they made a similar error with Ginger years ago) Prior 4 visits the groomer listened so we trusted them with our dogs. What happened!!!! The front lady is a "talker" does not listen. The groomer "shave the heck" out of our dogs. And does whatever they please. They request tip before service. BEWARE!!! We had not had this experience before. What I thought was a wash & light detangling was a full shaved dog. POOR SERVICE- I want my money back. Will be reporting this business.

I posted before and after pictures for reference on how my 7 month old Australian Shepard looked…read more It was my 3rd time taking him here, and never had issues the first 2. Yes it's a long wait, but most groomers are. I took my boy Queso on Friday 5/10 and explained what I wanted. I said, absolutely no shave down because Aussies shouldn't be without their coat. The lady took notes and said something around the lines like " short, but not too short to mess up the coat". I was happy she understood the importance. When I picked him up at 1:00 pm, as soon as I walked in and before even seeing my dog....The lady said she wouldn't charge me and apologized for having accidentally shaved him completely. She said she wasn't fully paying attention to my instructions and "should've called me" but of course didn't. I was more sad than angry because my doggo loves to be out in the park and around our yard but now we have to be careful he doesn't get sunburned. I will no longer be coming here, but if you take your pup, perhaps stick around to be sure they get it right.

My first time coming here and it won't be my last. Anna used to groom my Bichon at Pet Envy. So…read morewhen I found out she was grooming again and had her own shop, I knew I had to take my new fur baby to her. Shop is located downtown Tulare. Parking is definitely a challenge but they do have a couple of spots for "drop-offs/pick-ups" which is convenient. The waiting area is nice but I do prefer when I'm able to see the grooming take place. Here you are unable to see anything as grooming is separate from the waiting area and no windows to allow a view of the grooming area. Pet owners do have the option of having their pet hand dried or cage dried. I always opt for hand drying as my fur baby does not tolerate the cage drying well. They did a great job grooming my fur baby and they took about 2.5 hrs. My interaction with staff was good and she was friendly. Price is pretty average with other grooming businesses.

The Dog House Grooming Salon! I can't say enough about them. My sister recommended this place since…read moreshe takes her Coco there. With only one small issue (nothing with the salon), there is not ample parking but, that is expected since there are some businesses around and homes in the area, nonetheless, we were greeted at check-in (staff were all super friendly), all our information was taken and staff made recommendations on a haircut for Bella (we decided on "teddy bear" look). I felt like I left Bella in good hands Once Bella was done I received a service report (how amazing was this)! It gave a before and after picture along with Bella's dislikes and how she did. I picked up Bella (about an hour and a half) she looked and smelled amazing! Anna did a wonderful job and Deb was great checking Bella in and out. I think I've found our forever grooming salon if anyone is trying to decide on a groomer, i highly recommend The Dog House Grooming Salon!

I requested a simple trim, but they left my dog looking completely uneven and choppy on all sides. The overall result was unsatisfactory and upsetting, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I certainly won't be returning.
