This was by far one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Not only did I have a wonderful time but I just love the concept of Jeff adopting rescue dogs. The staff were wonderful. Jackie was my guide and she gave me an overview of the grounds and all of the beautiful animals who are there. We sled through a true winter wonderful and it was truly magical.

This was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon! The dogs are so sweet & friendly and really love the running. You can tell Jeff takes very good care of his dogs!

Start to finish, this was absolutely incredible. Beautiful dogs, beautiful scenery! A 12 mile ride through the most magical winter forest. We will be back again and again. 130 dogs on property, all so happy and so so cute. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. 2 thumbs up, you guys rock.

We had a blast! We came with 3 families and all the adults and kids had a great time. They have 125 dogs and just walking around all their dog houses is a hoot. Our 2 year old daughter loved the experience. They do a great job of bundling you up to keep you warm and dry. Hot chocolate and cookies are given afterwards.

    Zeppelin and Ringo saying hi!

This was easily one of the most authentic and interesting things I have ever experienced. Jeff and his team were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Jeff is a true Mountain-Man with 38 years of dog sledding, breeding, and rescuing experience! Jeff toured us through the 12 mile figure eight loops with a 10 dog team. We were in the back with Boots and Smokey pulling as our anchors, and our lead dogs were the brothers from the same litter- Zepp and Ringo. It was truly amazing to see Jeff and the dogs communicate with one another and pull us through the gorgeous countryside of rural Montana. The 12 mile tour went by in a flash and before we knew it, we were back at base camp with the welcoming 120 plus dogs. Afterwards, Jeff made us hot chocolate and homemade oatmeal raisin cookies inside the warm cabin. What a tremendous experience. Thanks again Jeff, we will be back soon!!!

Mom rocking it at 95 yrs old!

Took my 95 yr. old Mom to Dog Sled Adventures and had an incredible time! As Mom described it, "it was like a fantasy land sledding through the beautiful snow covered forest, best time of my life". And believe me, Mom has done many adventures from skydiving to parasailing to zip lining to race car driving and more. The dogs were incredibly friendly and eager to pull! Jeff was hilarious and kept us entertained the entire ride. There was nothing we didn't love! The price was quite reasonable and it was obvious how much Jeff loves and respects his dogs. Highly recommend this great adventure!

Views views views!…read more Great change of pace after days of hiking. I rented a 1 seater kayak from glacier outfitters. It may look like a far walk but it isn't! Totally doable. The staff was very nice to explain everything to me. They showed me the lake map and where to go and not go, etc. Instructions were very clear. I rented 2 hours (they have you 15 mins for the round trip walk). The walk from the rental to the lake I thought was a bit of a walk but it was not bad to haul the kayak there, they are on wheels so it is not bad. You leave the wheels near the trees. Returning the kayak was fairly easy as well. There are lockers available that you can put your stuff if you don't want to take it with you. The minimum number of hours is 2 hours and it was 40 something. Overall it was a good experience! Everything was great. Would recommend and use service again.

We made reservations at Glacier Outfitters for kayaks for the day. (highly recommend reservations)…read more There is a small parking lot and some street parking but it was not a busy day and it was full. We had people waiting for our parking spot when we returned to the car. I'm not sure where people would park when it gets very busy. Perhaps there is another parking lot I didn't see. When you walk up to G.O. you sign waivers, pay the fee and are gathered in an area for instructions. The man who provided the instructions was very informative. Advised us of areas in Flathead Lake to avoid including a rough water area and a few bald eagle's nests as they recently laid eggs. After instructions, you are provided with the kayak, paddle, life jacket and a cart to roll the kayak down to the lake. Now, I'm pretty strong but the kayaks are heavy. I did think to myself, how would someone with less strength get this kayak down to the lake? Something to ask about if you are renting as it is several yards to walk with a heavy kayak. The carts were easy to remove and stash while we spent the day in the lake. When you finish kayaking, you simply load the kayak back on the cart and roll it back to G.O., drop off gear and you are done. We had a great experience with Glacier Outfitters and would use them again.
