Fine. 8:10 an employee arrives and lets me in, checks me in and proceeds to tell me my groomer called in for the day and there is no room in the schedule for her or other groomers to accommodate my 8:00 appointment. I scheduled a time a not a particular stylist. She asked me to reschedule, and I will just not this location. I'm required to give 48 hours notice for cancellation but it's ok for me to arrive on time and be told that there is no stylist to perform a service I scheduled them for. Anyways, 2 stars for a reason. Avoid this location.

Cages for birds are dirty, to small and no enrichment toys for them. Birds get stressed and do self harm. They need to be happy. Some of the birds are being boarded by customers. I would not let them take care of a maggot let alone one of my bird babies. The fresh water tanks with frogs in it had dead frogs. No humidity, water bowl or UVB on the chameleons. A couple struggling to shed due to lack of humidity. No UVB on the poor Bearded Dragons. They looked stressed and one had a sore on the top of its nose. Water bowls were way to small for them to soak and one looks very thin. Tortoise enclosure was dirty and small. Torts should not be housed in and see through enclosure. The large bunny's cage was disgusting and way to small for a small bunny let alone a bunny of that size. A lot of the animals are marked not for sale. Store pets!!! I hope they are not breeding them because the way these poor animals are kept would not produce healthy babies. The over all store was dirty, smelled awful and made me sad for the animals. People think they are saving animals from places like this when they buy them but they are making so they can keep the doors open and buy more animals to sell. Please do not purchase anything from this place. It's just awful!

Financially we were able to give a donation during the holiday season in addition to buying all the essentials to bring our girl home. But it is nice that they have events such as this where families who might not be able to part with all that money up front can take home a new family member, spoil them a little, and hopefully give back throughout the year rather than just paying the adoption fee. I was impressed by how clean the cat room was and how happy the cats seemed. The volunteers didn't seem to know much about the individuals and the lady working at the front desk was a bit brash. I also do love that it is a non kill shelter. The only thing that brought it down to a 4 was just the harsh attitude behind the desk.
